One of the major draws of this tour was the proximity to the neighboring Cave Point County Park. Emily led us right up to the famous limestone sea caves. Being in a kayak allowed us to feel the gentle rhythm of the lake as it echoed through the rock formations--an immersive experience that felt both peaceful and powerful. Thank you Lauren, Jake, Abby, and Alana for such a GREAT experience! My party and I had previously been zip lining but it had been some time. We were the only party to arrive and they made us feel SOOO comfortable zip lining. There were only two in my party, but staff still made it possible for us to do the flying squirrel. WHICH WAS AMAZING! We are just tourists in Door County but they had such great recommendations! I was slightly nervous as this was my first time in YEARS but they made me feel COMPLETELY comfortable. Thank you ALL for such an amazing second experience. I cannot wait to come back soon! The staff also held our belongings for us so we didn't have to take them on the zip. We had three of us -Ages 16, 55, and 71. We did the eight line zip lining tour and had a great adventure together. The instructions were clear and all of us loved zipping through the trees like birds in flight. The instructors were helpful and kept safety in mind at all times. We shared this experience with a family who had two young daughters about 8 and 12. They all had a great time as well. Great adventure for family too. We are grandma, mom and grandson. Whoopee! It was a great experience. We went for the Cave and Dunes Kayak trip. I would like to specifically mention that I was kayaking with my daughter ( middle schooler). She got tired and didn't wanted to paddle anymore. I was paddling alone for most of the trip. On our way back, one of the guide (Brian) came and offered to tow us for a while. I didn't even asked for it but I must say that was really helpful. Strongly recommend. read more

Decided on short notice to sign up for the kayak tour at Whitefish Dunes State Park - and very glad that we did! Their website is very easy to use for signing up and paying for tours, plus the descriptions on the website were very accurate to the actual experience. Sue and Heidi were our tour guides. They were both very nice, super helpful, and took the time to make sure everyone was safe and comfortable with the whole process! The caves were awesome, but the best part was being able to see the Australasia shipwreck! I will definitely be signing up for another tour with these guys in the near future!! read more

I really enjoyed my zip lining experience at DC Adventure Center. This was my second time going zip lining (first with DC Adventure) and I would go back again. I felt very safe and comfortable with the equipment and also felt the handlers who were with me providing our group with instructions were professional and caring. It made me feel very secure that I was going to be okay (no loose cables or whatever anxiety I was having ) and that I was going to enjoy myself, which I did. My family and I booked a trip for the cave and dunes kayak tour. It was fun and informative, however, halfway into our kayak, I asked our tour guide if we will be entering the caves, she told us the water was too high and we wouldn't be able to. Then, I proceeding to ask why we were not informed of this because it was a disappointment to book a cave and dunes kayak tour without entering the caves. There was no apology and warning that this situation might happen. All it said in waivers and through emails was "Tours go out in rain and fog! We reserve the right to reschedule or move a tour based on unsafe conditions like high wind & wave, as well as thunder & lightning". My family and I are very disappointed. read more

I'm conflicted with the Rowley's Bay location of zip lining. I really liked the two young ladies that were leading us. They are very patient and friendly ladies. That's being said for $50 a person this was not a good course. It left me saying, that's it? I realize it's all the way in Rowley's Bay but damn. They should really add something to this one. I think we were out there for maybe half an hour. Saddest part is that the Sturgeon Bay one was not available so we did have to drive all the way to Rowley's Bay for it. As much as the ladies were great in their job I feel like I was robbed of our money. read more

i had been searching for something different and fun for our family outing - all 17 of us - and was fortunate enough to be directed to these folks. 3 different local resorts suggested this particular company when i asked about zip line tours, and now i know why. manager anna was amazing on the phone - friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with all of my questions - we had all different ages that i wanted to bring with us - from a 1 year old to my 65 year old father - she made me comfortable that they could and would be able to handle a group our size and make it enjoyabale for all. if you haven't been before, rowley's bay is a breathtaking sight - amazing scenery - gorgeous setting. when we arrived, emily was as smiley and friendly as anyone could hope for - sweet and helpful to get a group our size rolling. from there, nicole and andrew were both terrific! they paid close attention to detail and safety for all of us, especially the 4 kids between 1 & 8 that we had with us. they were informative and made the entire family adventure an absolute wonderful experience that i don't think any of us will soon forget. thank you all! the schmidt family read more

Two of us did the kayak tour from whitefish bay state park. Heidi was a fabulous, experienced, knowledgable guide. Group limited to 5 double kayaks which looked smaller than other tours. Calm waters allowed an opportunity to go in and very near the caves. Sit in kayaks with spray skirts - nice touch on cold water days. Also took two families to the zip line tour at the adventure center on ploor road. Farm views aren't as great as a tour through the woods but the setting was lovely. The staff was great and they were very accommodating of small children (40lbs.) that don't meet the minimum weight at other places. Highly recommend doing the flying squirrel in addition to the zip line tour, too. read more

Took our family zip lining at the Rowley's Bay Resort location with Nicole and Melony (tour guides), these girls were super funny and very helpful as well. We went with our 2 boys, ages 11 and 13. Would recommend this zip lining and we are looking forward to doing the glow stick zip line next time we are there. The boys loved it and wanted to go again, they wished it was longer but they had a riot. Ask for Nicole and Melony!! read more
