Kind, quick, attentive, reasonable prices…read more I just went and got two new tires put on my truck today, after calling earlier to check if they had them in stock. They had two sets of new tires in stock at different price points, and said I can get a deal if I paid in cash. The prices were comparable to my local tire dealer and they were located closer to me, so I decided to give them a try. When I arrived, I was met by Rodolfo, who turned out to be a very kind and soft-spoken young man. He showed me the tires I asked about and after I selected the ones he told me to pull the truck in the bay and invited me and my child to wait in the lobby, which had several comfortable chairs and a large TV screen that shows you the inside of the garage. It was a comfortable wait They spotted a small screw in the sidewall of one of my original tires. He said it would be about $45 to patch a side wall. When I checked with my local tire dealer, they're willing to do $10 plugs or patches, if it's some thing they can patch. When I told Rodolfo this, he said he'd be willing to price match it. It took Rodolfo and his coworker less than 30 minutes to move my back tires forward and put two new tires on the back. His coworker was a young Caucasian man with a beard and mustache, that was also very kind but I didn't get his name. When it came time to pay, I paid with my debit card and I had misunderstood debit card as the same as cash. Rodolfo noted the misunderstanding, but left the ticket as it was. I felt so bad for the misunderstanding, but he just smiled said it would be fine. In addition, he decided since this was my first time there, there would be no charge for the sidewall patch at all,. He's a very generous guy, and he says the owner is also a very, very kind man. It definitely shows in their workmanship. They offered to drive my truck around, and even noted a rattling sound coming from my wheels of my truck, and they wanted to double check that they had not caused it to rattle. I reassured then that was a noise original to my truck wheels it had always made, and they complimented my truck and hoped that I return. I would have no problem giving them more business in the future.

I called Hoovers the next morning and told them what the car was doing and asked could they service it. I spoke with a guy name Jeff. Jeff stated it would be $129 for diagnostic and tow. I paid for that over the phone. 30 mins later , Jeff called me to advise me that they had sent a worker out to McDonald's to jump start the car and did work , so I'd have to pay for a tow. Yes , that's correct after he told me it was included in the $129. I used my roadside assistance and got the car towed to Hoovers. About 3 hours later , Jeff called me and stated they figured out what the problem was and the car needed a Starter. I asked if that was it , and he stated " yes , but after we put the started on if we find anything else , I'll call and let you know ". He told me the Starter and Labor would total $645. I thought that was kind of high , but my son needed his car the semester was ending in 2 days. I paid $300 for the Starter right then. Jeff stated I could pay the remaining $345 when he calls and tells me the car is ready. He told me the Starter was in a difficult place , so that's why the labor was $345. 35 minutes later , Jeff called me and told me my son car was ready for pickup. YES , labor was $345 for 35 minutes. He also told me , nothing else seemed wrong with the car. Picked the car up , the next day my son leaves to come home and the car stopped again after driving about 12 miles down the road. I called Hoovers , they told me to have it towed back and what they did was next warranty. Mind you the car is doing the exact same thing from the first time they had. Jeff calls me a day later and tells me , the motor locked up , but they can't understand how it locked up cause it's oil in the car. Basically spent $800 for 12 miles. Jeff was rude , hind the phone up in my face and tried to say my son prob drives bad so the engine messed up. Very disrespectful! I wouldn't , take a bicycle to this shop , let alone another vehicle. STAY AWAY , FAR AWAY !!!!!

Upset I changed my tire for my spare and took it back. Without question he took the tire and begain repairs. I found out from another customer that I had a nail. This is not a fancy tire shop with a nice waiting room (there isn't one at all). It looks like what it is, a small town tire shop run by locals. I assume the man that helped me was the namesake, but not sure. I explained the situation and he explained it could be the weather fluctuations we have had. He aired all the tires up to pressure and said as low as this one was in comparison to the others, he thought it must have an issue. He takes the tire off and dips it in the tank. He looks at me, smiles and says, nope. No leaks he could see. He said to watch it as it could be a valve issue but he thinks it was fine. I asked him what I owed and he shook his head and said nothing. I told him he is an honest man and I wouldn't leave without paying him something. I pulled out a Bill (nothing crazy) and he said let me get you some change. I said no sir, that is for you. I appreciate you helping me out. I don't know when I will have another tire issue, but if I am near Castillo's, I will come here. One other thing. I asked him if he could grease the bearings on my trailer tires and instead of saying sure, he said he could recommend someone who could do a better job. Living in a metro area, it is hard to find and honest group who doesn't try and upsell you or tell you need to change something when you don't. I miss this about living in a small town.
