I work as much as i can with Coach Rachel , coach Julius , and coach Nate . i can't say enough great things about these coaches . each time i go for training or a class i know for sure im going to be testing physically and mentally ! each coach uses different drills (some overlap ) to keep things fresh and make sure we are challenged ! this helps greatly with overall fitness , health , and confidence !

I've been accepted and made to feel at home there, all thanks to the hard work and dedication from the team! I'd recommend to anyone looking to join a boxing gym for the first time! They build Champion's not just in body but spirit!

I recently moved out of state and it didn't take long to realize how good I had it at Whole Fitness…read moreby Jess. Leaving Jess and her team behind was one of the hardest parts of my move, and it immediately showed me just how exceptional that experience truly was. Jess and her team completely changed my mind set about going to the gym and working out. I was in my early 40s when I first started working out at Whole Fitness and, until I found Jess, I had never been able to stick to any kind of fitness routine. I was at my heaviest, totally overwhelmed, and honestly at my wits' end. From day one, Jess put me at ease and made me feel at home. Whole Fitness isn't a typical gym and that's what makes it so special. It's a boutique, private environment where you never feel self-conscious, intimidated, or uncomfortable. I always felt safe, cared for, and supported. The trainers and the other clients became an extension of my family, and leaving that behind was much harder than I expected. After moving, I tried to recreate that experience and quickly realized just how rare Jess and her team are. I won't turn this into a complaint about other trainers, but it became clear that what Whole Fitness offers isn't easy to find. I eventually stopped trying to replace it and started doing virtual training with Jess instead because I'm simply not willing to settle for less than the best. If you're looking for a place that truly supports you, meets you where you are, and helps you build something sustainable, this is it. Jess and her team are exceptional and I can't recommend them highly enough.

Today I participated in my wife's training session with Jess and she really made me feel the burn. She showed my how to isolate particular muscle groups that's I never have before. I always thought I was doing shoulder workouts like side raises and shoulder press correctly, but she gave me tips that really helped me activate the muscle groups with less weight than I usually use. She also made the workout fun and threw in some movements that I definitely haven't done and really challenged me. Since my wife started with Jess I've definitely seen the change in her and would recommend her to anybody looking for a trainer that really knows what they're doing.

His departure is not his choice he is being forced to move to a different studio because a "new" coach is taking his place. Coach Walker is not only my favorite coach but has become a friend. What I like most about Coach Walker is he has pushes me to limits I did not know I was capable of. He makes the class fun by singing, dancing, and laughing. Laughter helps the class go by fast. Coach Walker started coaching at Beachwood on my first ever class. When he announced he was leaving you can see the disappointment and sadness on the members' faces (I know I was disappointed). I don't understand how you can move a coach from his "home" studio for the past 2 years to a new studio and put a brand-new coach in his place. This has put a bad taste in my mouth. I don't even want to come to the Beachwood studio because he is not there. This is a bad move on OTF's part. Coach Walker has built a huge following and a trustworthy clientele. How can I get Coach Walker back to the Beachwood studio?

Life Time Fitness is a huge lifestyle gym and health center in Beachwood. It can't even be compared…read moreto any local gym, it's far superior. During my initial visit my tour guide referred to it being like a county club. Right on - upscale and relaxing vacay vibes. I have only remained a member for a few months due to life events and health circumstances. I was always very enthusiastic about visiting Life Time! AMENITIES: The club is very clean and every part of the experience is well designed. Everything you need is there. For instance, you'll get all toiletries and towels for your shower or sauna visits. The club well serves a variety of guest groups catering to their unique needs. Parents can use childcare service. Millennials can utilize pickleball courts. Retired folks can partake in a fun Arora aquatic program. There are numerous amenities: full salon, cafe, co-working cafe, indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, steam room, pickleball courts, rock climbing, Pilates studio, personal training, yoga studio, chiropractor, cold plunge, outdoor bar, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, workout area, cryo, and a lot more. You almost need a lifetime to explore them all! It was an immediate "yes" for me in terms of joining. The gym is very spacious, you never feel constrained at any times of the day. My favorite amenities are the outdoor pool and Club Lounge (co-working space). The outdoor pool is Olympic size pool with comfy lounge chairs and lounges. There is zero entry part and swimming lanes. Robust Arora program (open to any ages) offers fun water aerobics activities. The classes are so high energy! The pool was even open into October this year. Loved the pool! Co-working space offered me a lot of flexibility working from the gym and taking a break to enjoy the amenities. The internet speed is excellent! CLASSES: Classes can be conveniently accessed via Life Time mobile application. Sign-up is easy. Timings are suitable for various schedules. EVENTS: Life Time hosts plenty of events for members creating a communal feel - karaoke, swim nights, and even tequila tasting. Some feature a DJ and cool decor. While most events are free, you'll pay for drinks. PRICING: Prices match the amenities. I paid almost $200 per month for a single membership. Not everything is included in your membership (Pilates for instance), but most things are. You get some discounts (such as the salon, the cafe, and personal training) during your first month. It's definitely a pricey investment but also self-investment. CANCELLATIONS: Membership cancellation is very easy. I was able to cancel my membership via the app. I was sad to cancel my membership but life is lifing. You also have an option to pause your membership and partake in online workouts. DOWNSIDES: To be honest in my review, few issues exist at Life Time: - Concierges are not always pleasant. I had this experience, my guest did, and other members mentioned it to me too. The service is very dismissive. You will constantly get referred to the app, attentiveness is rarely a thing. - Cafe prices are outrageous and far higher than at any other health cafes. I recently paid over $40 for a power bowl (Shoyu-Sesame), protein balls, and a smoothie (Açaí Bliss). It's convenient to have a cafe onsite, but prices are wild for the portions and mediocre quality. - Open hours for the amenities are ever changing and unclear. It's hard to figure out when the pools are open or when cafe outdoors is available. Employees I've asked about the open hours were equally puzzled. This doesn't well serve busy individuals with demanding schedules and need to pre-plan. - The parking lot is very dim at night. While the area feels extremely safe, it's still not the best time in the evening. - Onboarding process is rather chaotic. I found myself asking basic questions about creating a pass card, locker use, open hours, and sign-up processes. I was constantly referred to the app which didn't have most of these answers. Overall, I truly enjoyed the amenities at Life Time. I will definitely rejoin when my personal circumstances change. I highly recommend dropping in for a day pass to experience Life Time or formally joining. You won't find a better gym around!

I will say that you should check out Cleveland Yoga's actual yoga studios because the classes are 100% amazing (Ylonda, Scott, Tami, and Jackie K. are awesome instructors). The yoga studios are in Westlake, Little Italy, Beachwood (main), and Concord Township. Cleveland Yoga has 2 locations in Beachwood. This review is for the Cleveland yoga and barre studio in Beachwood. This studio has strictly barre classes and some yoga classes. Once in a while, they host special classes and events. Yoga Sculpt was one of those special classes. I came on a weekday evening and entered about 5 mins late but I was still allowed inside. Rush hour traffic after work was insane. CLASS EXPERIENCE -- The class was killer and I knew I would enjoy it because I have taken a TON of Yoga Sculpt classes in the past when I lived in Chicago. Yoga Sculpt is a combination of basic yoga postures and strength exercises. Most yoga studios nationwide will incorporate weights (dumbbells) into the yoga sculpt class format. The strength exercises that we did in class were not new (think mountain climbers and jumping jacks) but the increased repetition of each exercise called for a challenging workout. We also used free WEIGHTS and did exercises such as bicep curls. The whole class was definitely a workout especially with all the plank holds and pushups. The instructor was filled with energy and she was awesome but I wish that some parts of the class moved quicker. I don't believe this particular class was in a heated room. As you know, or don't, the majority of Cleveland Yoga classes are taught in a room that is heated between 75-95 degrees heated. I recommend this studio. Try a barre or yoga class and your future TONED body will thank you later. *** - 8 total reviews in 2019. - 218 total Yelp reviews.
