After briefly telling John what i was looking for he arranged a house visit to assess the job and a price quotation. He arrived when he said he would and brought sample door handles, hinges and door types with him for us to choose from. He made helpful reccomendations that we would never have considered and gave us a fair price for the job, There was no pressure to commit and no price for quotation even though he travelled 50 odd miles to assess the job. We hired him. Everything from start to finish was taken care of, he supplied everything. He arrived when he said he would and did exactly what he was employed to do and even a little bit extra! Most importsntly to us was that as we live in the house we were hoping for minimal disruption and we werent disappointed. We left him to work away on his own when we were out at work safe in the knowledge that he was a decent person. He put up with more disruption from us with children in and out and day to day life than we did from him. I cant say enough, we got top quality work (which was no easy feat as our hous ehas more crooked walls than straight ones)at a good price and there was no messing around.

You could spend as little or as much time at the gardens depending on your level of interest. Parking lot available. Cafe with seating and outdoor seating. Gift shop. (We had looked at some other places during our travels, including high-end places in town.) When we walked in, we felt that "something special." We found exactly what we had envisioned and purchased a ring for her. When we gave it to her after returning to "the states" we couldn't have given her a better gift!
