The new location is in the Century Plaza where Tres Mariposas and Nono's is located. The store has a great calm feel to it and the owner is very sweet. There is a variety of clothes, accessories and shoes to choose from. They carry Havaianas which is true must, as well as other designers. I think their price range is totally reasonable which makes me think that the owner knows her market. Overall, I think visiting this place is totally worth it!

Even though they don't tell you exactly how they broke down the price, you will always have a fair amount of money from your stuff. V&X is such a cool space. Women's on the left, men's on the right and two black sleek chairs in the middle in front of the table with accessories. They have a great selection for women and it seems as though they only purchase one in each size (small, medium and large only) for each shirt, blouse and dress. There are a few other boutiques in town with the same buying tactics and even though it's totally depressing when you find something super cute, but not in your size...I'd rather know that I won't run into 20 other chicks at the Garden with the exact same dress and it's a plus that this allow stores to bring in more mech sooner. Pricing is totally affordable. I bought a color block dress for $38, an infinity ring for $5 and a double ring for $8. And those prices are full price, so when stuff goes on sale or they have discounts I already know where I'm spending my paycheck. They have everything by color and not sizes which I don't like but can get used to. They have a kind of creepy guy who was obviously their "security" because he was walking around trying to look like he was shopping but obviously wasn't. They only take cash but do have an ATM machine that charges 4$ I think. Take cash! Overall I really enjoyed the store and loved my finds.

Basically everything that's not clothing (purses, jewelry, records, I even saw a PacMan arcade game once) is right at the front. I'm always in this section too long, but I always find the coolest stuff. One of my favorite things I've found in this section so far is my super cute elephant necklace. Right next to this section is the clothing (and yes they have a small men's section). The clothing is pretty organized so its easy to find what your looking for. There's no point in going in great detail about this section because this is what you would expect from a vintage shop. And down the stairs is where you'll find the art. This portion is very open, but I was told they have plans for it. And pricing is really great here, but every time I seem to go in they're having a sale so I always feel like they're just handing it to me for pennies.
