Was just a customer at dd's discounts in Ewing, Nj and swiped my card for a couple hundred dollars; found a lot of great savings and enjoyed the merchandise but it was the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD. The cashier was swiping on her cell phone while she was ringing me up, she also had her ear buds in. She did not make eye contact, greet me, or tell me my total -- in fact the only time she spoke to me is when I thanked HER haha and at least she said "you're welcome." The security guard was rude and overly aggressive. Lost his patience and made me feel foolish because I had to ask him to repeat himself when I asked him where I was supposed to leave my backpack while shopping. I felt unnecessarily intimidated and uncomfortable. I've worked in customer service and retail all my life, managed retail stores, etc. and all I can say is this place falls way below average in terms of basic customer service expectations and I'm shocked. I literally never take the time to write reviews or reach out in this manner but this experience was bad. I'm no Karen but this experience would bring out the Karen in anyone FYI. read more

I am visiting here for work, I live out of state. Upon approaching the register, I could hear the cashier having a volatile conversation on the phone. I told her that I didn't want a specific item and she began cursing at me, then threatened that her mom would beat me once I left the store. Sure enough, her mother was outside the store ready to fight. I had to call the police to leave the store! I've never in my life had such an experience and will never visit that ratchet horrible store again! If it were possible, I'd give them a negative double zero! read more
