Nice small croquettes with a dip as an appetizer, and Vegan Kimchi burgers with an order of fries for our main. The fries came in a generous bowl, with some mayonnaise. The burgers were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside - a bit like the croquettes. They were served on a beet bun (just a slightly reddish bun) with a bit of the kimchi, and a small pickle. For me personally it could have had more veggies. Tasty, accompanied by a delicious cold beer. The owner was very nice and service was good.

The menu doesn't list any nuts in their food. I ordered a Caesar salad and it had nuts all over the top of it. No where listed on the menu. They were nice enough and make me a new one without nuts. I had also ordered the Cordon Bleu Caprese and the waiter came back and said there was pesto in the dish. I changed my entrée order to the Lady Steak. My husband ordered the Caribische Ossenhaas. He loved it. The presentation was great. It came with a lid on it and then they take it off and then smoke comes out. Like most entrees in the Netherlands we got a side of fries and mayo. My dish was good. Place was not crowded at all. Staff was friendly. We paid cash as they didn't have a machine that accept cards that didn't have pins. If back in the area we would eat here again.

They were very attentive even though it was at capacity and super busy. The complimentary ouzo is a really nice touch. So much food you're going to need to bring some home. If you are in Leiden to see the flower fields, this is convenient stop if you get hungry while in the area. Nice servers, they have the menu in English and Dutch, and if a table says reserved, you can still sit there as long as you are finished before the time that the sign says.
