You place your order and then grab a table. A server will bring the food out when it is ready. Seating was a bit limited, so there could be a wait for a table. We arrived just before they got busy, though. They have about 5 or 6 small tables on the ground floor. If those are full, a fallback option is to ascend the spiral stairs up to a low-ceilinged loft. This is where we ate. The chairs here were fine but the tables were quite small - almost like a high coffee table. It wasn't hard to eat off these, just a bit different than usual. Also, if you are much over 6 feet tall, the ceilings will require caution. They can probably accommodate another 3 - 4 small parties up there. There is a tiny table if you want to sit there and eat, but it's really a take out place. When I came around 5:30 pm, there was a line out the door with the local after-work crowd. I can see why: solid Indonesian food at great prices.
