I had this company install a complete rain gutter system for my mother last summer. Around Feb., a part of the system was leaking real badly. The back door was flooded. I called 3 times (the first one that answered was very arrogant and rude) and asked if they could come out and check it, since I believe its under warranty...or should be for the high price i paid for it. They told me they would come out when they had a job in my mothers area, which isn't too far from Bakersfield. They never showed up, and never called me. The last time I called them was about 4 or 5 months ago. My neighbor who recommended them said they told him they came out. And that was false, since I have security cameras on at all times around the property, and my mother is there at all times. This company is very unethical. I have 3 homes in Kern county, and I was going to have them do a system on all three houses, and I know several other people who needs rain gutters. NEVER will I deal with this company again, or recommend them to anyone! Remember, word of mouth can make or break a business especially in a small town. Beware of these guys! I have nothing but good things to say about De Leon Enterprises. To start, from all the bids I received, they were right on point with their pricing for security screen doors. The door appears to be a high quality product with a stainless steel mesh screen, a single, floor to ceiling piano style hinge, steel framing, a sturdy threshold and a quality dead bolt and handle. From start to finish the people from DeLeon Enterprises was nothing but polite, courteous, and professional. From the moment we walked into their offices for our initial meeting to Mr. Eli coming out and measuring to the crew's installation, we were provided outstanding customer service. After calling a few rain gutter companies I agree to give de le enterprise on my business with the competitive price I was presented. It all started in october after I submitted pictures and agreed on a price. I was scheduled for a final in person review of my current rain gutters for after Thanksgiving I was told. Early December I sent a email to follow up and the young lady called and said there was a miscommunication with the appointment person but she will have some over the next day. I waited, I got a call and the person said hi I'll be there by 3-4pm perfect I waited. No one showed up. I emailed again. I was told I was not in the installers area as he was in north bakersfield, I was told by the young lady. Then she apologized and said that I would get a call to schedule in a few days. I said ok. Few days passed. I forgot by now. I waited passed the holidays, I emailed them and said hey any luck on a tech I'm free any day and time I said in early January 2021. But now 1 month later in February 2021. No email. No tech. No follow up call. Very disappointed I had to beg them to get an installation in my home. I guess they must have other important clients that I was a simple unimportant installation that I did not mater. read more

This review is based solely on their pricing for security doors. I can't comment on any of their other products, customer service or workmanship. However, if you're looking to purchase a steel mesh security door then steer clear of this place, unless you like to be absurdly overcharged. I contacted this company for a quote on a security mesh door that typically sells for $700 at Home Depot, Lowes and Costco. The problem is that Home Depot, Costco and Lowes only offer two sizes, so I went by De Leon Enterprises because I knew they could get additional sizes. They quoted me a whopping $2170 for a single door installed. Granted I knew it was a different manufacturer and likely better quality door than the big box stores, so I expected to pay a little more. Well I decided to think it over and took the brochure home with me. I went to the manufacturer's website to research if the door was really worth that much more. I found that the manufacturer lists the same door for $1396 retail. So I realized that even I was to pay full retail price with taxes, they were charging over $600 in labor to install one single door. That's just insane, so I called back and spoke with Eli and asked if he would sell me the door without install, which he said they did not do that (Of course not). He explained the door was priced as such because he had overhead and needed to make money too. Well I certainly understand a business having to make a profit and I have nothing against that, but this company is clearly trying to prey on the uninformed consumer. I called the manufacturer and they referred me to 2 other local dealers. Low and behold, dealer #1 quoted me $1550 installed and dealer #2 came in at $1350 installed. Yes, $1350, taxes and installation included, when De Leon Enterprises is trying to gouge customers for $820 more under the "well I need to make some money too" excuse. That ladies and gentlemen is not a company trying to make a profit, that is just good old fashioned GREED. Needless to say dealer #2 got the sale. Geez, I wonder how these other dealers turn a profit selling their doors at such reasonable prices. I guess they must be in the business to lose money unlike De Leon Enterprises. So buyer beware, If you are looking for a security door and don't mind getting ripped off then run to De Leon Enterprises. Otherwise shop around and save a ton of money. read more

Mr. De Leon (Eli) came to our house and gave us an estimate on a security screen door. We ended up getting two. The price he quoted us was VERY competitive with Lowes whom we had previously ordered the security from. He knows his product unlike Lowes. I can't say enough about how impressed we were with the entire process from start to finish. These doors had to be custom made due to the size of our doors and they were done before the timeframe we were quoted. They are extremely high quality and absolutely beautiful and functional. His team showed up as scheduled and were very professional when installing the doors. They took their time, explained what they were doing along the way and were even more picky than we were in making sure they were installed perfectly. I really cannot understand the low reviews I've read. Everyone was perfect! Mr. De Leon even returned to our home the day after the work was done to inspect the job and gave up some touch up paint should we ever need it. Don't waste your time with Home Depot or Lowes. When you need a job done right, hire this company. You won't be disappointed if you receive the same quality product and service we did. Thank you Eli! We called them as a spring storm tore our back rain gutters loose. Eli came out & assessed the damage & gave us a great price to replace the broken area of gutters. He said they would call & schedule us within a couple weeks. That was late May. Here it is August. We have called several times & have been told this was too small of a job to schedule & when they had a job in our area, they would add us on. They never came. I guess a small $200.00 job isn't good enough for DeLeon. We found someone else & they scheduled us in two days. Never again will ever call them. read more

De Leon Enterprises installed seamless raingutters and downspouts all around our Seven Oaks home in 2007. At the time I was very impressed with their installation, service and product. They did a great job! It is now 2018, and my husband and I have commented countless times through those years just how happy we are with the raingutters. A few years after installation, after having had some concrete work done, I needed to have the bottom of a rain gutter fitted to flow directly into a drain, and De Leon sent a tech out promptly at no extra charge and he cheerfully took care of it. Great job -- I would be happy to do business with De Leon Enterprises again, but these raingutters just go on and on! You get what you pay for. read more
