Dr. James DeMasi in Albany NY. I called this doctor who informed me he was well versed in Mcas and its effects. He was told that she needs help with her allergic reactions to medications and has a doctor for the Mcas itself. We made an appointment and when he received the records of how hard of a case she really was he turned her away. Although I was upset with him turning away a patient who in all likelihood will not make it thru the year without help. I had hoped maybe he would know someone who is actually educated more than dealing with teenage acne and the only name he could give us is someone who retired a year ago. This is not the Doctor for anyone who has Lyme, Mast cell activation syndrome, or allergies. As well he will not work with other doctors. Good Luck. read more
