It was a 10-15 minute walk to my apartment, but I recommend it even if you have to bike further. They have live music most nights of the week, and even if they don't, it's still a great place to hang out. The drinks and food always hit the spot. When it was slow or empty, I always enjoyed the great company of the two oweners--Elaine and Nizam. And when it was busy, the locals were always fun and charming. Definitely a favorite spot in the evenings, I highly recommend and miss it!

One British friend of mine refers to his PT "Addiction". It's also the the oldest pub in The Hague, with one of the traditional rooms still in its original state. They serve good beer, honest sized portions, and it is a fun place to hang out with friendly faces so far from home.

The space is quite tiny, which adds to the atmosphere as well as fill up the bar a little too quickly. One thing is true: It's Dutch 'gezelligheid' at its best. I might just have picked the best night to be here, in which case, you might not find this bar worth 5 stars on other days. To me however, the Sunday alone makes it worth it.
