You'll also see how organized the business is ran, how clean it is inside and how they go out of their way to make the time you're there special. They go over everything you need to know if you're a first timer and if you're a frequent flier they let you go wild with your ideas. The price of the piece you choose includes everything. But so be careful pretty soon you've spent $100!! It's well worth it. You walk away with a piece that you'll have forever. I strongly recommend you go to the female locally owned business. The art gallery is broken down into a few spaces, all winding into each other through doorways. The space is also used for events, weddings, receptions, yoga classes, you name it. I was lucky enough to check it out last Friday during the opening ceremony of "Crop It" - an exhibit being put on by the Visual Arts program at IPFW. The displays looked beautiful in the space and the talent was immense! They had a bar set up serving beer and wine (I don't think they can serve spirits?). The beers were local which was a plus! Parking can be an issue so be prepared to park on the street / potentially several blocks away. Can be a bit sketchy at night. Overall the space was lovely and I can't wait to attend another event or check out a new show sometime soon!

What a nice venue with creative people who seem to care very much about bringing together community and connecting people. Clearly they are passionate about what they do and the artists they support. Look for parking behind the building and the main entrance is there also (even though the street address is Fairfield Ave, parking is behind). A daylight visit is also in order to see the murals painted by local on the buildings exterior. I'm not sure how often artists works are rotated, but I asked how to learn about things happening there and was told the best way is to follow the Wunderkammer Company on Facebook. Charley will offer ideas for your framing that are unique and atypical - he has come up with things I would have never thought of! I took photos/artwork purchased on Etsy.com and/or art fairs to Charley that are worth no more than $10-25. After Charley's touch, the artwork looks *expensive.* I've even got him framing a few greeting cards that I've had laying around for years and years - these cards hold special meaning to me. If you need framing, do not go to Michaels or JoAnn Fabrics or any corporate retail outlet for that matter, VISIT Charley. I can't imagine what my pieces would look like if framed by some over-aged woman working part-time at Michael's in her retired life.....

She knows her flowers and the process to grow, cut and arrange them to meet your expectations. My wife and daughter meet at Black Ridge a couple times to discuss the brides ideas and develop a plan to meet her wants. Susan also held a final meeting a couple weeks prior to the wedding to make sure everyone was on the same page and agree on last minute things. On the big day Susan and Tom were right on time to deliver the flowers. They went right to work putting things in the right spot and cleaning up after themselves. Now for the flowers...my wife and daughter were over the top pleased with the freshness, color, arrangement and overall beauty of the designs. The brides bouquet was a perfect size and just beautiful. The bouquet held up through all the handling and toss. The table flowers were simple and attractive. They didn't detract from the social interactions by being over sized, wide spread or in your face. They just blended nicely. The lapel flowers were very attractive as the were designed to be simple, worn close/flat to the lapel and masculine looking. The design was very innovative and attractive plus simple to pin on. The wrist corsages were simple, not fluffy or dangling, and beautiful of course. The flower girls had very attractive flower rings that were easy to manage and secure on a 5-8 year olds head. Susan also created a pair of flower arrangements that were attached to the arch behind the minister. These flowers were artificial but you would never know it. They were very attractive and blended with all the other flowers and color schemes. I would definitely recommend Black Creek for your flower needs. Susan is very talented. She listens well and works passionately to make your ideas come to life. Her husband Tom is a wonderful helper and behind the scenes guy. You will find both Susan and Tom to be very professional, friendly and customer service oriented!

Staff and Guests will take the time to introduce you and even play a game or two. once a month they hold a Free Miniature to assemble and paint to enter into a painting contest where the public comes in and votes on the best model.
