Cute little place in Jordaan!…read more We ordered the falafels, hummus with roasted cauliflowers and the sampler - a trio of dips. Our favorite was the eggplant. All the food was delicious - so flavorful! The pitas that were served with the dishes were so soft and pillowy. Perfect compliment to the dips. Love all the dishes!

The gentleman told me to wait a couple minutes, as a smaller table was finishing up and he planned to seat me there. The servers spoke English very well and were charming. The kofta is a classic go-to. I thought mine was excellent, but just not quite hitting the mark that I've had in the past. Definitely the type of food that I would go back to multiple times, if time was infinite. Pleasant atmosphere (music, TVs, people not too loud), and a good amount of food. Prices have likely increased since the last time someone posted a menu picture. Mine was about €26 with a beer.

The food was excellent. I had a chicken dish with veggies which didn't really tell you how delicious it was. My husband had grilled salmon with really good rice and vegetables. Wine was very reasonably priced and I had a nice Aperol Spritz. They serve complimentary bread and a delicious spread of spiced mayo. We got delicious complimentary baklava for dessert and left two happy people. I definitely would be a regular here if I lived in Amsterdam. Go -- you won't regret it. (We also picked up takeout kabobs one right which were delicious too)

My friends and I had patatas bravas, chicken kabobs, hummus, mushrooms sauce, and falafel.. every bite was flavorful and tasted super fresh. Drinks were amazing too. The place has this chic Mediterranean meets upscale vibes but what really made it special was the owner and the staff. So warm and welcoming.. he chatted with us and then dropped off complimentary baklava that literally melted in our mouths. Skip the tourist traps and eat here.. you'll def leave full, happy. Already planning my next visit!

I'm writing mostly regarding the staff, location and dessert though. We had two slices of their Limoen Taart Roomkaas, which I think is their version of the Key Lime Pie (?). It was fantastic! At the time that we tried it, we were told that it was a new item. One of the Staff Members/Managers came by our table to see how we were doing. It was a pleasant short conversation and not at all obtrusive. I had a chance to take a good look around the restaurant, including the outdoor area. I could see the spot being a good place to be during warm weather as it sits on the edge of one of the canals. We took our talk out to one of the external tables before making the walk back to our hotel. Bottom Line: The place seemed like a really nice spot. I wish we had time to come back for dinner. I recommend you visit. I have the restaurant flagged for my next return visit.
