I do not recommend this company. I wasted $300 for nothing. I needed my closet rack fixed that fell due to weight. I made it very clear several times I needed anchors put in the wall due to weight of clothes and after 2 days of work being done the rack fell again and I could see he did not put anchors in the wall to reinforce the weight of the clothes. I have three racks and two of them fell again after work was done, just a matter of time before the other one falls. When I reached out to company they confirmed they did not put anchors in only added bracket but yet charged me $50 for supplies" which in reality cost $5. Did not even offer to make things right and do the work the correct way. Now I need to spend an additional amount of money to get the work done by someone else the correct way. There is NO EXCUSE for this if you are not capable of doing the work the correct way then don't take the job! read more

First time we hired Dean and Sons, he replaced a pool cage screen and did a great job. So we had him come back to fix a few other things that we needed help with. Thanks to Dean and Sons, we have so much more needed storage space! No more stacking things on top of each other with the really nice wooden shelves and garage ceiling storage shelf that he installed today. Really happy with the workmanship and attention to details. Fast, fair and friendly! What a nice guy! Bill arrived on time, even after he made a special trip to Home Depot to get shoe covers (he was shortening closet doors for us because we have new carpeting and he didn't want to track anything in). I wouldn't hesitate at all to call him for handyman services. Apparently, his licensing doesn't extend to plumbing or electric, but if you have any odd jobs around (including furniture or closets that need assembling), he's a great resource. Finally I think we have found the best handyman ever in Naples...Bill Dean with Dean & Sons Handyman. He has done about 5 jobs for us now everything from hanging items, hanging TVs, drywall patching, assembling items and just yesterday we took apart a giant garage wall system and moved it to our new house. I think he does just about everything...except painting he says. Bill is very meticulous, always on time, reliable and even when our job took longer he did not want to get paid until he came back to finish the job. He puts booties on before he comes in the house. That says a lot! He has a system that sends a confirmation when he is booked, reminders when he is on the way. If you have a small job, or many smalls jobs they will not work with you and your budget. And, will politely brush you off as better to fine someone else, and too busy. So, unless you have a big job, or a lot of small jobs that total $800 or more. They may do nice work, but they are not going to even give you a chance. read more

Bill was at my home yesterday for a bunch of minor projects everything from installing shelves, to replacing door knobs and installing a new faucet in my spare bathroom. The most important thing that he did for me was change out my broken garage door opener for a new one at half the price of one that the garage door company wanted to charge me,. Mind you the garage door company did find something wrong each and every time they came out but after being here at least four times for the same problem and charging me a service charge for each time that they came out I could have replaced the garage door opener at least twice. The problem would be fixed for a couple of days and then reappear and the only explanation I received was well you might want to consider replacing a board at 1/2 the price of an entire new unit. Bill himself took the time to research the problem and then purchase the new unit for me. I cannot recommend him highly enough. read more
