Exquisite design skills and fantastic customer service! I ordered bouquet for my mother over the phone from out of state and asked for whatever she could do on such short notice (just hours before they closed, the day before Mother's Day) and with a very small budget. I couldn't have imagined the results! I expected a simple bouquet with regular roses or lilies, something like you see in every flower shop online but don't usually actually get delivered to the recipient) but I was more than surprised when my mom sent me a picture. The flowers were exquisite and unique! They looked even better when she put them in her vase, they had beautiful depth, dimension and texture. My mother said "I have never had such beautiful flowers before." Deanna truly made my mom's Mother's Day as my gift was late, delayed in the mail. I would highly recommend her services! read more

Deanna, I totally miss you and your creative-positive energy! God has truly blessed Thomas and I I'm so many ways... He created the person who created Yelp, which is where I found You and that is where we started the journey for 'Countdown to Culbreath' (September 30, 2017). I was literally sitting in my car scrolling thru Yelp for wedding stuff not expecting to find anything significant. I do believe things happen for reasons and that events in our lives are not random occurrences. When I came across your profile, I truly had no idea what to expect in planning for a huge life event, but after meeting with you for the first time​​ I felt comforted and knew we were in good hands. Understanding that each couple is different, I shared with you the things that I did know... - Me and my now Husband (fiancé at the time) travel up to/mostly 80% of the time for work. We hardly have any time for ourselves or any recreational activities, so DIY'ing our wedding was completely not an option. - We were definitely going to need someone who we could fully trust, cultivate a relationship with and thereby truly personalize our life milestone. - We needed someone who is knowledgeable, organized, and provide us with information we needed to make decisions that would be in our best interest, someone who would be an advocate for us, our budget and someone who is personable that can collaborate with all our vendors (​i.e. ​Contracts​& Fine Print). - We needed someone who could understand both of our personalities, cultural traditions and our intentions for hosting to a guest list of mostly out-of-towners. - I know myself... I know what I like and I know what I love. ​I ​also ​knew ​that ​I needed someone ​who ​I could fully ​rely on and have unwavering confidence in them to design our wedding​ ​day​. - We needed someone who is knowledgeable, organized, detail oriented, fun, and adventurous. We needed someone with ​ ​extraordinary vision. Deanna, you are all of these things and more! We are so lucky to have your help in preparing for two (2) wedding ceremonies in one day. You exceeded all our expectations and to this day, our guests continue to shower us with amazing compliments of our beautiful wedding day; the rehearsal, day of coordination, décor, flowers, paper goods, flow & timing... literally everything. For us (frequent career/business travelers), you made the planning and design process incredibly effortless. Thank you for providing the most important service of all; spending your time getting to know me and Thomas. Over the past year we have met face-face, talked on the phone, emailed, and communicated in every way possible. You even reached out to my family for information on coordinating the Traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony. Thank you for your hard work and all the effort that you & your team put into our day. This truly meant the world to me; for my family they greatly appreciated that your design honored our culture and incorporated their wishes. Again, thank you Deanna for adventuring into the design of our Modern-Traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony! The whole experience is one that I will forever hold dear to my heart. Thank you for curating a harmonious space to culturally honor our families and all their sacrifices. The ceremony was so fun and each serving of tea were all special memories that still make me smile! These will definitely be shared for many generations. The evening rooftop Western Ceremony was beautiful and seamless! The reception was fun and the suggestion of adding additional seating from your curated collection was brilliant. I have to rave about working with Deanna, but as a client as a vendor. I am destination wedding photographer and it causes a lot of stress when working with different planners and vendors out of state because you don't know their style and whether or not you'll get along. However, that was not the case with Deanna. She was very personable and organized in her planning. Not only is she a great organizer and planner but her floral design is out of this world. My second photographer and I both spoke separately about how we wanted to take her flowers separate and photograph them alone because their beautiful speaks volumes. I hope to get back to Nashville for another wedding soon and I would hope that Deanna and her team will be a part of it. Thank you for your talent and your kindness. I am so happy we went with Deanna Burks for our big day! I am convinced she made pieces of ART for us, and no other bride will have a bouquet like mine! Even though our schedules kept conflicting during the planning phase, Deanna went above and beyond to make time to meet with me and discuss my vision. She really does do everything in her power to ensure the bride is happy. Having a mood board to look at while she works up her vision for the arrangements was very helpful. She helped me see how unique a floral arrangement could be, and helped transform our venue into a fairytale! Some of our centerpieces were actually potted herbs/greens and they were just gorgeous! She was on time on the day of, came by while I was getting ready to show us some of the arrangements, and was adamant on making sure everything looked flawless. Deanna is amazing. I am a bit of a control freak and had a little difficulty letting go. Deanna settled my nerves and absolutely exceeded expectations. We used Deanna for everything. She put together the look of our invitations and programs. The paper that she used and the small touches of ribbon and wax seals made the presentation of the invitations so elegant. The programs were also a perfect touch and included everything that wanted. Our day was amazing, beautiful, coordinated and organized. Her organization is amazing. The day of was well coordinated with the venues, photographer and the flowers. OH THE FLOWERS WERE STUNNING!!!! She picked the most beautiful flowers and her attention to the details were seen throughout every boutonniere, bouquet, backdrop, table, buffet, etc. Even things I didn't think of she had it covered. She is a kind and patient soul and she was a huge blessing to Keith and I and we couldn't have done it without her!! read more
