Breakfast did take a wee bit to arrive, but everything was perfectly delivered and prepared. Very, very good. We also split a fruit scone and it was very tasty. When I got home and opened it, the rice had an absolutely foul, rotten smell, it was clearly already spoiled. I then had to go through the hassle of driving all the way back to the store just to return it, wasting my time and fuel for something that should never have happened in the first place. Although they refunded the spoiled meal, I was shocked that they made me pay the difference for the replacement. Selling food that's expiring today and already gone bad is unacceptable and the way this was handled was completely unfair. I've been shopping at Sainsbury's for years and always trusted their standards, but after this experience, they have certainly lost a loyal and valuable customer.
