So I was going to Grand Blanc, but I wanted to get some of your legendary pizza. My dad previously said that it didn't taste as good when he went in September, but it tastes EXTRAORDINARILY splendid. One bite into the Sujuk pizza gave me memories of the beautiful state of Michigan. The service was amazing (besides the unevenly cut pizza slices), but then again, we ordered 30 minutes away from the restaurant. In addition, I have not been inside the store, so I do not know about the ambiance. All in all, I recommend everyone in Dearborn who is looking for halal pizza to go here. I would have never thought a pizza place would have the kind of desserts offered. Then again I suppose all of their desserts are made to be shaped into a pizza pie or sorts. June 30th, I picked an order made by my family. Order was 4 large pizzas (margarita, pepperoni, BBQ chicken & veggie with beef as an additional topping). All pizza tasted great and fresh. Figured out later that I was mistakenly over charged most likely cause the store was busy the moment I walked in to pick up the order. Went back to the store the other day and explained the issue and they were so cooperative and checked my order versus what was paid and they apologised for this mistaken and offered a refund ad store credit, refund or get something on the spot. I took some sweets. Customer service was superb, staff were so friendly. I don't know what all negative reviews are about and I doubt their fairness. So I made an order, they were very accommodating about how I wanted to make my order and them showed up and it was ready in a short amount of time! My friend's hype was NOT overrated- this pizza is GOOD. Ingredients were good quality- I got a small pizza with sujook, pepperoni, banana peppers, green olives and extra cheese. Excellent flavor and great chewy crust just how I like it. Small wasn't even small like other commercial pizza places!! I would say there were about 10 slices! Sad day for this place. This place always deserved 4 stars, but I haven't been here in a minute. I'd always get a custom order of a large or x-large pizza with chicken shawarma and banana peppers on it. (Despite how it sounds, it's the best thing you could ever eat.) so much so, that I became a regular for it. It's been a while, but I recently called today only to hear someone new on the phone and being told, "sorry, we don't do chicken shawarma on the pizza. Only regular chicken." After expressing ive always ordered it like that and the chef should know me based off what I ordered, I still get told no. Imagine going to a restaurant you're a regular at, getting told you can get your food served how you specifically want it for some unknown reason - even if you're willing to pay the extra fee for it? Second time visiting this place and it's unbelievable how dirty this establishment is. I had to play musical tables to find one that was at least acceptable to sit on and at least had no crumbs or food on it and to say the least, the table was so sticky that my menu had to be scraped off of it just so I can flip it to the other side. Nothing was cleaned and the floors were FILTHY, junk EVERYWHERE. Totally unacceptable and took my mood away. The only reason I'm giving them two stars is because the food is pretty good and fairly priced. I wanted to have a nice dinner with my girlfriend and they're lack of cleanliness totally messed it up. Prices are dirt cheap. 3 Large pizzas with 5 sides of ranch totaled about $20. They just moved into a bigger building next door to their old place. Dearborn Pizza has always been famous for their middle eastern sweets, surprisingly. If this review was only about their sweets then it would be a 5 Star review. My biggest issue with this place is the take out process. Very unorganized. People piling on top of each behind the counter as well as in the waiting area for customers. They'll tell you 15 min over the phone but give them at least 30. The food is never finished when you get there. read more
