The session started in early morning, Nancy wanted to make sure that we caught good light that will compliment my daughter and she really paid a lot of attention to the background, the pictures have this amazing morning freshness. Working with babies is the hardest because they simply don't know how to pose and they are not patient but Nancy was good in directing her. We got to the session and it turned out that Alexa got hungry so we had to feed her but Nancy was was super patient and was setting up the background, picking up the blankets that will look best against Alexa's skin color. I absolutely love the ultramarine blue that she picked for her. She made all of us feel very comfortable. Even though the session was for my daughter she decided to take coupe shots of me and my husband, she even included our dog in few shots. It turned out to be the best photo session that we had, not only Alexa got great shots but me and my husband as well. As we all know kids grow so fast and Nancy was able to capture very precious moments that will stay with us forever! Alexa looks very sweet and playful on the pictures. If you're thinking of hiring her, I highly recommend doing so. I actually started following Lisa on Instagram long before I was engaged. I loved her style from the very beginning! By the time I got engaged, I already knew that I wanted Lisa to photograph my wedding. It was just a matter of seeing if she was available for our big day. From the start, Lisa was very responsive to my emails and inquiries and even got on multiple calls with me to answer questions. She was very friendly and easy to talk to. After we signed the contract, we booked our engagement shoot with her. Prior to our engagement session, she sent us a list of helpful tips on getting ready for the day. Meeting her for the first time, I could see that she loves what she does. I was very happy with the way the photos turned out. she captured us soo perfectly. On top of that, Lisa got our engagement photos back to us in about 10 days even though she was in the middle of planning her own wedding! Leading up to our wedding day, she sent us a check list of things that we need to have ready for her. She asked us to make a list of all the groups of people we wanted photos with. And honestly, that made a huuuuge difference. It kept us on track with the photos and not waste time looking out family members. In the last two weeks prior to our wedding, Lisa got on the phone with us multiple times to help us with our timeline. We didn't hire a wedding planner so we had to work with Lisa and our venue coordinator to figure out the logistics of all that we wanted for our day. She was amaaazing. With Lisa's help, my husband and I felt like our wedding went so smoothly. I honestly don't think we could have gotten through our day without her. We went on our honeymoon right after the wedding. And on the flight home, I got an email from Lisa saying that she's done editing our photos. So we got almost 1000 photos back in just two weeks! It was such a nice way to end our trip!
