Very clean and organized. My hair stylist is Avery Richard's. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and through the whole process ensured that I wasn't hurt and checked in on me often. She had spent 5 hours doing the balayage, foil, toner, wash, cut, style, and blow dry. I know my hair isn't easy to work with and it's super long but at no time did she make me feel uncomfortable because the process for my hair took so long. She was very hospitable. I don't usually book my next appt for hair but I really wanted to ensure that Avery does my hair again. She may be young, but she knows what she's doing. I totally appreciate her work. I moved from NJ and tried my first Colchester hair salon ( near McDonald's). What a mess! The young lady couldn't get my hair color right at all. The two times I was there, the haircuts were half-( you fill in the blank) haircuts. The owner was never around when I called to make appointments, nor when I was there. She left her business in the hands of an inexperienced ( though she was nice) girl. I then tried Hair Magic in Colchester, Connecticut & I LOVE IT! Dottie, the owner, is an excellent hair stylist. Really has extensive knowledge in cutting curly hair and understood immediately the hair color I wanted. It's been now about three years going to Hair Magic Salon and I would not go anywhere else.
