I can't say that I'll be back. The new owners are cutting corners and it's not the same. The older lady, as sweet as she is, doesn't speak English and she doesn't understand any of my requests. I have natural nails and they're strong and grow fast so cutting my cuticles and using the mechanical buffing tool isn't the best for me. Something as simple as asking for my nails to be filed manually is a huge task as I have to wait on someone else to explain to her what I'm asking. Then she huffs because I asked to manually file my natural nails. If I had acrylic nails then I'd understand the pushback. The other annoyance is that most of the matching gel polish & regular polish are now missing. This is the 2 trip here where they couldn't find matching colors. I normally get normal polish on my feet and matching gel polish on my hands. The new owner came over and asked if I would be okay with 2 different colors this one time, I politely said no. Why would I spend extra for gel to not be happy for the next couple of weeks every time I look at my nails? This last straw for me was that she pulled out tools from her basket which I have no idea if they'd been sanitized or not. I pulled my feet away and asked her to spray it alcohol... sanitizing and making your guests not second guess your cleanliness should be top priority. I've been going to this nail salon for a couple of years and could always count on cleanliness, pleasant conversations, matching polish colors, and a well organized staff. Last time I had pedicure this relaxing and comprehensive was in Asia. Totally hygienic place with a solid clientele of men and women who come here. Vivian was excellent with the pedicure and reflexology. I got the #2 with scrub and massage. So awesome. Sounds prissy but after a long work week this was sooo cool to experience. I didn't intend to visit Debonair Nails but an appointment got pushed back and I was in the area so I figured that I would use the time to relax with a pedicure. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and immediately took a seat to start my pedicure. There is a list clearly posted in front of the chairs that outlines the different pedicures services and the cost. The technician was polite, focused and chatty if you want conversation. He told me that his name is "B." If you want an excellent experience and a strong foot and leg massage ask for "B." The salon was just open when I arrived so things were pretty quiet. They play soft music and have a couple of T.V.'s playing HGTV on silent. There are lots of nail colors to choose from and offer all of the standard additional services. read more

Okay, so I've waited to review this place for while because I wanted to get a few visits in before giving my opinion. After five visits, I can say that this place is great for SNS nails. Each visit, my nails have lasted at least three weeks ... and I'm not delicate with them. They probably would have lasted longer but I just want new color after a while. On my first visit, I was getting hard gel nails and but was talked into trying SNS. I was hesitant because I've had SNS before and wasn't crazy about them. However, they convinced me to try it again and I'm so glad I did. I've never had the powder nails last this long or found someone who doesn't leave little bumps on the nails because they didn't see them or were in a rush. They do it right here! I've seen three different technicians as well and each one does a really good job. I've been super happy each time. I do recommend making an appointment if you can, rather than walking in. They can get pretty busy at times so call ahead! read more

I'm happy that I found a place that does pretty nails at an affordable price. I had a classic pedicure and manicure done. I did feel like the girl tried to upgrade my selections but it's a business so I guess that's part of the job. The staff is polite and professional. I didn't catch the name of the girl who took care of me but she did a wonderful job with my nails. I am very pleased and I love the color. They have a big selection of nail polishes. Also, they mix in a little bit of reflexology into the pedicure. The whole experience is highly relaxing. read more

Showed her what I wanted initially and she couldn't "do it" there was too much lines is what she said‍ there was just three lines so I settled for a long French tip which shouldnt be hard right --wrong. She recommended dip brow instead of acrylic and it was still an overall awful poorly done job. She could barely control her nail machines and would graze me continuously. I yelped this salon and saw all the good reviews and came in my first experience was good but my second experience was even better with "Na and Amy". They are super sweet and funny, they both take their time in doing each session of service and pretty fun to talk too. Towards the end of each session of service they add a small massage in it which is honestly the best part and so soothing!! All of their utensils are clean and packaged. The honey citrus pedicure was nice too I loved how they hang up the types of pedicures in front of the chairs and use new tools on your feet every time. Very new to the area so i was looking for a new nail salon. Went here since they had the best reviews and great prices. Should have walked back out when I noticed on a Saturday at 1:30 they were completely dead when the other nail salon in the same shopping center was packed. Sat down and asked how much a full set of acrylics were with gel polish, $40. Acrylics with regular polish, $20. Ridiculously more expensive. So I got regular polish. You could tell the woman was mad I didnt get the gel. I could understand $10 but $20?! I can get 2 sets for that. I knew something was wrong when she didn't prep my nails, did not buff the nail, but glued the nail on. She then asked how Short I wanted them, I said on the shorter side, she took out scissors and chopped the nail so short they couldn't do the shape I wanted anymore. Barely did anything to my nails but did a little buffing and that was it. Then she had the nerve to tell me that my color is going to come off if I touch anything because I didnt pay extra for the gel polish. Sure enough it was because she didn't paint them well enough. Just kinda slapped on the polish and that was it, didn't even clear coat the edges. Maybe I didnt want gel that time but if they did a good job I was going to go back and get gel but I can tell you after that, I wont be back at all. 2 days and a nail popped clear off. You can tell it wasn't on correctly since my nail is still super smooth. Won't be back ‍ read more

There was a lady who was waiting to get her nails done and while we were there, another lady came in and decided to leave. There were only 3 nail technicians working, which I am told is typical for a Monday. I was more than halfway through with my pedicure before another technician was able to start working on my friends pedicure. We both decided on the Honey Citrus pedicure, which I would highly recommend! The service was great and at the last minute I decided to do manicure! The prices are great and the spa is very clean and offers a ton of nail polish options. Both technicians that worked on my nails and my friends nails were skilled and experienced. Hmm, I'm disappointed in this place. The reviews on here are impressive, but my experience wasn't great. I went in for a gel manicure and was assigned to a male manicurist (not sure of his name). He seems bothered and rushed through my entire manicure. He didn't ask me what shape I prefer, he ripped at my cuticles without ever putting cuticle oil on my fingers, and filed all the whites of my nails down. When I tried to stop him, he looked at me, huffed loudly and said "but it's fine." When he was finished with my nails, he got up and left. Didn't say a word to me. It was the strangest service. I really felt unwelcomed and was upset to have to give them my money. I'm not one to cause a scene, so I paid my bill (no tip) and left. I won't be returning. My recommendation is if you get a guy to do your manicure, you ask if there is someone else available. read more

The sns is so thick and there's areas she missed with the dip powder. I had to correct her over and over again. To the point when she was buffing my nails she was doing it so rough and I believe it was on purpose because I called her out on her sloppiness. I wanted to get the SNS Dip Powder to strengthen my nails but I also wanted a rose gold chrome color (which they did not have or do not make) so Phebe managed to use the Dip for my nails and then top them with the rose gold chrome that I wanted. Hmmm, where should I begin? First let me say my friend Britt is a longgggggg time customer and she speaks highly of "Na". This is my 3rd time giving them a chance. 1st visit, Na did my Pedicure and it's clear that she's the owner because she constantly had to stop and give directions to her staff; cash people out; take phone calls. The 2nd time I went for an Eyebrow Threading and they only had ONE THREADER and I was asked to come back tomorrow, I went to Rashmi instead. The 3rd and final time (because I'm fresh out chances), I came for a gel polish change on my hands and feet and eyebrow threading. The tech used 3 coats of a color and when she was complete my nails looked like I had Tidal Waves. I asked if she can redo it and she held up her timer to show me she had 30 minutes for my Pedicure and she had another appointment on the way. Na came over and said they looked fine and she would have to charge me twice for the removal and re-color. I ended up completing my Pedicure (w/out color-$25), removing the polish color and still had to pay $15. Total: $40. Remember the eyebrows, yeah I didn't even take the chance as I already wasted time and money. I went to Tip Top on Kirkman and paid an additional $40 to have the gel polish done to PERFECTION. read more
