After we pulled up the carpet we found that there was plywood screwed, glued and stapled to the floor. We pried it up, chiseled away the glue and pulled (what seemed like) thousands of staples. In the end, you would have never known the condition of the floors before River Hardwood finished them. He worked fast, efficiently and made several repairs weave seamlessly in. Evidently from other Yelp reviews customers either had positive experience or ones like mine with no reliability. This is disappointing as it is a locally owned business that offers numerous service if you can get them to follow through. While I am sorry to hear about the passing of a family member/team member, it is not an excuse to wish bad karma on someone simply for leaving an honest review. As mentioned in my original review, while we never had SERVICES performed by this company, we still interacted with them on a professional basis. Customer service is apart of business just as much as services are. There is no reason to reach out to someone who left an honest review of their customer service and tell them, "I am so happy we did not continue on to consider you as a client.".

Having a uniquely shaped window in a difficult to reach spot in the home, Rebecca offered multiple options; was informed of the advantages and disadvantages of each. A remote control option was suggested. Having decided on honeycomb blinds, the quality and ease of use with remote control and phone app is beyond my expectations. The installer, Gavin quite expertly installed and adjusted blinds, and made sure I understood the operation of said blinds prior to leaving. The end result is a beautifully covered window which allows me privacy when needed and maximizes light when not. I would give Timan more than 5 stars if I could. This was an investment in our home which I believe was worth the cost, as I am sure I shall enjoy the look of this room for many years.

Here's a direct quote from the text she sent me, "IT LOOKS SOOOOOO GOOOOD!!!!" Norm checked all of the boxes you want a contractor to check. High quality workmanship. Check. Reasonable on price. Check. Work completed in a timely manner. Check. Communicated well, often, and clearly. Check. I can't recommend this guy enough. If you want your place painted by a guy who will make it look SOOOOOO GOOOOD, then I think you need to hire Norm.
