I would like to start by noting that this mediator is also an attorney. While she may be well…read moresuited to represent clients in a legal capacity, I do not recommend her as a mediator based on my experience. The mediation began with approximately 30-45 minutes of introductory remarks, stories, and explanations of expectations. In my opinion, this information could have been provided in advance in a written packet. Using billable mediation time for what felt like administrative overview added unnecessary cost and reduced time actually spent working toward resolution. She also stated that she had reviewed the history of the case beforehand, which gave the impression that prior case context may have influenced her approach. In a process meant to be neutral, this was concerning, as it can create a perception of leaning or pre-judgment. During mediation, it was explained that parties are free to request anything they wish. However, when proposals were made, she frequently responded with commentary about what a judge would or would not likely grant. This felt contradictory and, in my view, undermined the purpose of mediation as a space to explore options without immediate judgment. Additionally, there were moments where her tone became elevated during discussion. While she stated this was directed evenly, it was perceived as unprofessional and escalated an already difficult process. She will most likely post a response with an apology and honestly it's just to save her professional outlook clearly she does not feel this way or she would act differently. In my experience, mediators should remain consistently neutral, calm, and facilitative rather than directive or reactive. Overall, while she may be effective in an advocacy role as an attorney, I did not find her approach to mediation to be neutral, efficient, or conducive to productive resolution. I would not recommend to work with her as a mediator.

I highly recommend attorney Tatiana. Thanks to her, I won my case -- she fully protected my rights…read morethroughout the divorce process and ensured that my children's rights were safeguarded as well.

He is in the practice for the right reasons. It takes an unfortunate many a trial an error to…read morerealize the system is rigged and that even when retaining counsel one can be caught in the middle of the "deal" where they have no say. One thing is for certain Mr Edmond is not on or for the take. Mr. Edmond was very transparent, professional, and expeditious. I am not done yet.... there's more. Mr Edmond visited me while in county custody several times "just because". Mr Edmond brought me pictures of my new born whom i was made to miss delivery of while in custody. He brought me to court several times prior to the kick the can down the road date the State Attorneys Office and the Judiciary set, trying to expedite my immediate release. Most of us grow up knowing and well thinking that "get used to it", because cops, prosecutors, Judges collude do what they want when they want etc, but not while Mr Edmond is on the shift, and if they do pull the "business as usual" its not without protest on the PERMANENT record. In representation thats whats important. Often many of us must stand next to a face card of a lawyer who simply believes his or her presence is what we are paying for or what the tax payer is providing a litigant, wrong, we pay for expertise and oral arguments and for facts and defense to be established on the record on our behalf. Often we litigants are forced to open our mouths to change the course of cases that should be either open and shut or require a decent effort of defense but are stuck paying for a face card or hoping for a "deal" from the prosecutor undermining our rights entirely. Mr Edmond works with friends and family and keeps the concerned up to date. He also participates in advocacy proving its not about the dollar, ultimately its ethics and the real pulse of this nation, the people. Counsel Edmond amazingly but with a cool tongue broachs the issue of collusion, malicious prosecution, abuse of process against the prosecution, on the record in a manner which demands respect and proper inquiry by a judiciary very important if a case ever should go to an appellate court. Sometimes attorneys face each other in practice or even once may have worked together and this may create conflicts of interest for clients on the attorneys and their offices themselves, Mr Edmond draws the line at his clients his clients defense, NOT at HIS personal conflicts of interest. He is fully prepared to navigate difficult conversations with professional parties who may have adverse opinions of him or his clients undeterred, which is KEY. GOOGLE him, he has made a few headlines. Im sure there it is much more usual information to add, but before I go additional useful information is that litigation is often complex lengthy and may have an extended chronology that new attorney taking on a case may find burdensome. Mr Edmond makes every diligent effort to be aware of the prior histories of a case, the prosecutors attorneys and judges of case and related cases and any formal complaints filed that may prejudice a client unaware to anyone else not inclined to factor this information in. He is team player and will work with and keep open communications with attorneys representing a client in separate litigation. Great attorney that this area extremely needs will go down as one of our greats and will result in either an election to local office maybe even as judiciary himself. He needs to take over the Brevard County PD office.... start getting your votes ready, after he wins the Brevard County Bar associations presidency of course.
