Everything is great there! Everyone is pleasantly nice it offers so many different options for ones health.

We were visiting this YMCA from out-of-town. I had the unfortunate experience visiting it not one but two days in the row. The first day, the lady working at the desk became very flustered and didn't know how to process our entry when she realized that we were visiting from out of town. She went on to say that we were not marked for "nationwide" access and that I needed to take care of it for next time. It took 15 minutes to figure out our entry to use the facility. I made a mistake coming back the next day and since she did not remember me from the day before, it was the same issue again. This time, she found another problem in our account once again but she could not articulate the actual issue and she became very flustered. I called my regional YMCA to help her figure out the answer she was looking for. After all of that waisted time and energy, yet again for several minutes, we were able to finally get through the door to work out! read more

I'm only leaving 1 star so I can write this review. DO NOT let your children attend the summer day camp. This facility allowed children to be bullied without any consequences. There is no accountability and the children are not supervised throughout the day. When incidents of bullying occur they don't take action, yet blame the children who were bullied. The way they handle situations is absolutely disgusting and very concerning. read more

Great facility, very clean, plenty of classes available. Everything is kept up to date and in good shape. For those complaining of theft, plenty of lockers are available to secure your belongings, end of problem. read more

no security cameras in parking lot or inside. So regular thefts. key chains disappear and management does do anything about it. facilties are ok. read more

Decatur Family YMCA - Ymca is where I spend my second morning.. - Gyms Near Me - Decatur, Illinois

This is a friendly place. Lots of choices for your fav machine more so than many others. It has a pool and an upstairs running track. Full basketball courts in the gymnasium part. It feels and looks clean. Hours are decent but i went from a 24 hr smaller facility to this 18.5 hr facility with many more options. I would give higher marks if i had been there longer read more

So, in from out of town and decided to go workout. Only to find out that with a national membership at this ymca you are not allowed to use "The Premium" locker rooms which have the steam and jacuzzi. Was not aware this was a thing with YMCA or the premise for YMCA's. Funny that at my local ymca out of towners get use of everything. Disappointed. So I hope you're not planning on using those. Guess I should suggest this to my ymca. Otherwise it has an ok gym. read more
