DO NOT do business with the company!!!! One of the biggest mistakes that I've ever made for my business was signing on with MBA. Customer service is a joke. It is a big company full of people that DO NOT care. I owned a restaurant and signed on with MBA for a little over two years. I sold my restaurant earlier this year and, thus, cancelled my service with them. I was forced to provide them with a cashier's check for my final payroll EVEN THOUGH my account had always been setup on automatic debit from my business checking account. I was later served with a threatening breach of contract letter forcing me to pay a few hundred dollars in penalties or face a lawsuit. I was made to feel like I had done something wrong from the bottom all the way to the managerial top. Breach of contract??? I sold my business! It was not as if I had chosen to ditch them to sign on with another payroll company. Today, I called client services to get a year-end report to finalize my 2011 taxes. In doing so, I was reminded over and over again by several different people that I was "no longer a client". There was no urgency from anyone in assisting me because I am "no longer a client". After a series of unreturned phone calls and my having to call back several times, consequently, I am being forced to pay $75 for a FICA year-end report--a report that comes standard with ADP, a payroll company that I have dealt with in the past that I would recommend to anyone. From my experience, I am certain that MBA does not have repeat customers or gain business from word of mouth. They lure their customers in initially and trap them in by contract. I would have called to speak to a manager to express my dissatisfaction if I didn't feel like it would have fallen on deaf ears. Take it from my personal horror of an experience, DO NOT utilize this company for your payroll needs. They transposed the last two numbers of my routing number for my direct deposit that was scheduled for 12/24/12 and have been blaming it on my bank for the last two weeks. After going back and forth w/ the blame game between my bank and this joke of a payroll company, I finally get an admission from MBA that they transposed the last two digits of my routing number and that's what's caused the hold up of me getting paid. So, to add insult to injury, I receive a live check in the mail today to make up for the mishap on the direct deposit and these guys have the audacity to charge me a $10 "check reprocessing fee". I called them back immediately and they said they would look into it and call me back in the morning.
