Signed a contract with Swanigan Flooring in…read moreJanuary for removal of tub/shower, toilet and vanity to be replaced with walk-in tiled shower, new toilet and install new vanity. Demolition started February 7 and so did all the excuses why he couldn't arrive day by day but yet he was working elsewhere! I had obligations out of state which I informed Mr Swanigan of and he assured me the bathroom would be finished before my leaving. It wasn't but then he assured me as a man of his word, that once I got back I was his priority! Again the excuses started and he was cutting corners just to get finished. Needless to say after 7 weeks of dealing with this man, I fired him! I hired a new contractor and he was shocked at the work of Swanigan and how it wasn't professional which I already knew. Swanigan maybe ok in his flooring service but don't hire for bathroom remodeling! My problem is now I have to start all over!

We hired Cott's Docks to install a vinyl seawall. After day 1 of install it was apparent this 2…read moreman crew had no idea what they were doing. We wound up with a zig-zagged wall because they didn't have the necessary equipment to remove a rock that was in the sand so they decided to go around it. In addition to the zig-zagged wall they also didn't tie into the neighbors sea wall which would have left a huge hole in my yard from dirt eventually washing through. After being told that this was unacceptable work, they re-attempted it. This attempt was not any better. After Day 4, they told my husband they were going to get an excavator from another site, and they never showed back up or returned our phone calls. They only completed 1/4 of the seawall, left a huge mess in our yard as well as their tools in the water. They cashed our $7000 deposit check. Stay away from this company at all costs!
