I spoke with Allen who was very friendly and professional. I had a pleasant conversation with him. I explained what was going on and he had Brianna call me to go over everything. Brianna was very thorough and professional. She quoted me a price to repair my roof and she sent Josh out to my house this past Saturday. When he arrived he took time to answer all my questions (and I had a few). He checked my roof and my attic. He found the problem within a few minutes of arriving. Apparently, one staple popped up and as a result my roof was leaking. He pulled the staple out and sealed the holes. I was very pleased with the professionalism shown by the staff. When the repair took less than estimated, Allen immediately refunded me the difference. There was zero hassle. I really appreciate a stress free, proper repair. I am so happy I used R&J. And I have all my text messages on what you promised. I just found out that this person is not licensed in North Carolina and probably not insured either. He did not clean anything up. He left a big mess and I am stuck cleaning up most of it. I'm supposed to also have a one-year warranty which he refuses to come back and fix what's wrong. He also left a defective double gate which he still refuses to come and fix. I am left to get a lawyer now and if anyone else wants to jump in on this, please contact me at 252-876-5955 and we can sue him together. This is a very shady, dishonest person. I believe he even brought his wife here to sway me the first day they showed up. She was really sweet and talked about him not messing up my landscaping and everything. He ended up doing just that. I have been digging clay out of my white rocks and landscaping for weeks now trying to get it back like it's supposed to be. Nails were everywhere and I told them several times. I have a robotic Lawnmower, they didn't care. They left old fence hardware thrown haplessly in corners that I had to remove. The excess clay for the new hose being Doug was supposed to be raked out and used to cover the old fence post hose and excess was supposed to go in the back of the gate raked out. When they dumped all the excess in the back of the gate and left big old piles of clay, nails and string, and everything else in it. I had to literally go fill up my John Deere cart, haul it to the front, put it in the back of my SUV and take it to the Tuscarora landfill. This is a scam artist. If you got lucky and he did something right then great but if he messed up something like he did here, please contact me like I said I have a lawyer. It's been over a month and I am still cleaning up the mess that they left. The mess that they promised would be cleaned up.

I contracted him and he came out and I showed him what wasn't acceptable. He came out about a week later and not only did he not properly correct 3 issues but refused to do anything else claiming there was nothing wrong the the rest of the fence. I said I wanted the name and policy number of his insurance co. He told me the name but won't give policy number. Since then he won't return my calls texts or emails and hung up on me when he did answer. I hired another contractor that gave me an estimate of $1200 to repair and properly re-install the 300 ft. fence. This is only 16 of 74 photos showing faulty sections of installation. Will be taking him to small claims court.
