From…read morestart to finish, Iman and his team did absolutely everything they could do to make the wedding planning process seamless and our wedding day exactly how we imagined. We were planning our wedding during the pandemic and things were constantly uncertain as to whether or not the wedding would be able go to on. Iman and DJ Kia had routine calls with us to check-in and offer advice. We knew we could trust their opinions and flexility during the uncertain times. On the day of the wedding, DJ Kia was so involved with every aspect of the ceremony and reception. He knew exactly what to do, when to do it, and how to make our wedding day an unforgettable experience. He literally orchestrated our ceremony processional and was making sure everything was running smoothly. Everyone felt at ease walking down the aisle because DJ Kia was there to send them off. We were lucky enough to have Iman MC our wedding, and believe us when we tell you he knows how to put on a show. The dance floor comes alive with Iman on stage and everyone was out of their seats and dancing the entire night. Our cocktail hour ended up going over schedule, which pushed back our reception. It was no worry though, because Iman was there to quickly restructure the timeline and ensure everything ran smoothly. Even with unexpected issues, we felt completely at ease knowing he had us covered. He is such a genuine person who truly cares about his client's happiness. We also used Night Owls for our video production and working with them was a truly pleasant experience. They captured every aspect of the wedding beautifully. In just a few short weeks, we had our trailer and wedding video created, both of which were edited to our liking. They were extremely patient with us throughout the process and the end result is videos we still can't stop watching! Thank you to Brandon and the team at Night Owls for all of their hard work. We also want to give a special thanks to Wake on the sax, Farzan on the drums, and Cyrus on the cello. These three gentleman made the music come alive and our guests could not stop raving about how talented they were. My wife and I still talk about just how great it was working with Exclusively Entertainment and we would absolutely recommend them for your events!

Ruined Corporate Event - review from Corporate Event Manager:…read more Stylist No-Show: Artist A was a scheduled stylist but did not show up on event date and there was never notice of her cancellation. Additionally, a same-day no-show gave me no time to shift the schedule around and communicate to our guests in advance. Stylist Limitations: Per the schedule provided by JSL, each Stylist could commit to both hair & makeup service, however, Artist B was able to provide makeup services only. As a result, our guests could not be serviced in a single instance by the same Stylist and this interruption in flow (because the timing between Artist B & Artist C could not sync up perfectly) really delayed everything. Ultimately, the volume of scheduled appointments was too high based on the services that could be provided. Had this been communicated in advance, we would have scheduled our group differently. Communication from JSL Services: Communication from JSL Services was not timely, and we had to follow up a few times about the schedule proposal. Additionally, JSL Services was asked multiple times to review the schedule assignments in advance and verify that all scheduled Stylists were accounted for, and to let us know if there were any issues or concerns. This did not happen, creating confusion and worry onsite, based on the developments noted above. As a result, our schedule was negatively impacted on event date, inconveniencing majority of our guests and causing many of them to be tardy to a very high-level event, that required security clearance, at an off-site property from where the JSL services were provided. After going back and forth with Judy, she eventually agreed to honor a partial refund due to our experience, but this request was only met after threatening to escalate to our internal Legal department to resolve the matter. The Artists were talented but the business owner Judy is incredibly unprofessional. Would NOT recommend.

They don't have a physical location; they rent a small cubicle in a building in Chevy Chase. Since they don't have a physical location with a landline, I had to rely on e-mailing them or calling/texting the owner, Judy, for all communications. From the beginning, it seemed like they weren't great at planning. I have 8 people needing services the day of my wedding. They planned to send 2 artists for everyone and only allow 30 minutes/service for each person, including me, the bride. I voiced that I didn't think this was enough time and they told me that they were the experts and I should trust them. I called Judy in June to go over some day-of details and get some clarifications on their pricing. Our call got disconnected halfway through our conversation and when I tried to call her back, she didn't pick up. I texted her asking her to call me when she could to finish our conversation. No response. Flash forward to July when I was supposed to have my hair/makeup trial. She canceled my trial the morning of when I had already taken the day off from work with no explanation or apology. I then spent two weeks trying to get a hold of her team with no response. She did not respond to e-mails, phone calls or texts. I tried to be as pleasant as possible throughout this experience since I still wanted to work with them. The final straw for me was reading several recent reviews on WeddingWire and on The Knot from brides saying she showed up very late to their weddings or NO-SHOWED. That is completely unacceptable. She finally e-mailed me back and said she wasn't sure if she could service me on my wedding day even though we had a contract. No apology or explanation from her for ghosting me for months. She offered to return my deposit which I said yes to. I have spent the last few weeks desperately trying to find a new company. I want to shout out Caitlyn Meyer Pro, Tamar C Makeup, and Makeup by Ana B who all helped me find a new company for my wedding day. It's clear to me now from their website that JSL Visions is overextended and doesn't have enough artists working for them. They don't have full-time admin staff to handle bookings. This seems to be why they're late or not showing up to people's weddings. It doesn't help that Judy really doesn't care about her brides. They have recently expanded to Florida (?) and now do wedding planning as well. I had considered hiring them to plan my wedding too and I'm so happy I didn't now. If Judy can't even book a hair/makeup trial or show up to someone's wedding, how could she plan it? This whole experience has been the most stressful part of my wedding planning. Avoid at all costs!
