It's August, 2016. I feel like my 25 year old house is brand new. It had suffered from lack of time and lack of cash. The house had just drifted into looking tired. I had some good work done a dozen years ago, but I never went the whole way. I didn't touch half the rooms. Between then and now some repairs made by handymen left problems fixed but left the cosmetics far less than desirable. Tracy Williams guided me through decision after decision. She listened to me and found options for everything from carpet to paint color, to counter tops, to light fixtures and plumbing fixtures, to window coverings. A case in point is picking the carpet. I lack the imagination to visualize what a sample will look like filling the entire room. When I just couldn't tell which would be best I asked her to choose for me. The result was a big WOW. It looked great with the existing tile I didn't want to change. It even made the tile look better. I gave her a big challenge of designing a space plan for a room with two doors and two windows. And, just to make it harder, three bookcases. It is my man cave, but I'm a woman so we just call it the cave. I use it for TV watching, reading, as a home office and craft space. It's where I live. The improvement is almost hard to believe. A 1000% improvement in function and looks great too. She had great vendors and did all the scheduling for the installations.
