    I visited Decorium during the last 15 mins before it closed a few weeks back and it's my first time here. Disclaimer, I did not make any purchases, so I can't attest to the purchase process or the quality of the goods over a long period. However, sitting around the couches and touching them in the showroom... They feel more premium compared to a chain store like The Brick and maybe even another local store I checked out (at this point I've been to a few different furniture showrooms). Nothing stood out to me in terms of unique or trendy styles. It's more of the classic couch silhouettes, which is fine. It looks like they have a 20% Yelp Check-in offer! So definitely leverage that if you're planning to make your purchase. I appreciate the store carries a newish couch and another version using the same cushions but a year after it's broken in so you can see how it holds up and feels. The staff member pointed that out to me, and he was great at answering my questions. Often in stores, you don't get to see an older couch for comparison. The sale staff wasn't pushy and gave me the space to explore. I don't know if it makes a difference but I was there alone. I don't get why people complain in other reviews when staff don't help you right away. I prefer the approach where if I see something I like, I'll ask for help. I was looking for a contemporary fabric sectional with deep seating between 120-125 inches in length. However, they didn't have that size. It's either too small or too big if I add another section. Any other size, I recommend checking this spot out if you're looking to invest in higher quality furniture especially couches and dining tables. I wish more folks could leave reviews about the couches purchased locally and how it wears. Such a challenging process to find the right couch.

    An absolute scam. We were assured the couch we purchased was inspected and in perfect condition. It arrived well wrapped in plastic, but when it was unwrapped it had several tears, was missing three of it's feet, and the front of it was covered in coffee stains. We immediately contacted the owner with pictures of the damage. The owner proceeded totry and gaslight and blame us for the damage, before turning extremely rude and then ignoring us. All we wanted was an apology and he refused. Within a week of having the couch we noticed it's cushions were also ripped and tearing away from the arm rests. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional business practices. They don't care about their customers or the quality of their product and are clearly out to make a quick buck scamming people. Absolutely avoid this company.

    we bought a 3 seats sofa from their "stressless collection" . After 3 Months later , we found one of our seat is Peeling. when we contact their customer service. At first, they said it is not manufacture defect . We told them , we switch seat regularly , because my husband wanted to make sure weight distribution will be even. if is was not manufacture defect, how come it only appeared on one seat? Later on they finally decide to change the leather for us. After the covid shutdown finished, they changed their mind and tell us it will cost us $450 plus taxes to change the seat....... When a furniture store call themself "Highend", that usually has a high quality customer service to go along with it.

    I came here by fluke, it was actually on our way to one of my friends party and my husband and I decided to stop by and check it out. I've been on a hunt to find a sofa for over a month now, but nothing has really caught my eye, when I first walked in, I noticed how big this place is. The sales associates were really helpful. I like independent shopping, I hate sales associates follows me around. The one lady that was helping me was great, she kept enough distance that I was able to browse on my own, but I was able to call her when I need help. I love the decor here, I am going for a rustic look and this place has just that. They have modern and rustic accent furniture which really caught my eye. I end up buying a sofa here, love love this place!!!!

The reason I gave this review 3 stars is because of the assembly of the bed. They had two men deliver the bed and assemble it together. It was not done right, drilled extra unnecessary holes in our wall to hold the headboard. Although these extra holes weren't visible after the headboard gets mounted but this shouldn't have happened if they were professionals. The headboard should have been mounted flushed to the wall form top to bottom but the way they did it was only flushed at the top and the bottom part of the headboard slanted and touches the wall. However the mistake was forgivable as these two men worked really hard to put it together. They initially came in our house and said it would be a very easy job that would take maybe 1.5 hour but ended up taking them over 3 hours. The other reason I didn't give it 4 stars was because we had requested chrome legs for the bed but instead the wrong type of legs came with it. Though it's a minor issue but it did cause inconvenience as one of us had to take work off to physically be home when they had to come back to the house to reinstall.

The $150 also goes towards your purchase. I found their selection of fabrics and colours to be limiting. Their prices are pretty ritzy so those who are price-conscious should head to Ikea instead. With that said, they do have a some pretty cool furniture, like sectionals that lock together magnetically to prevent the slip and slide effect (which is most likely to occur when you're at your drunkest). Their interior decorators are relatively young, and in my opinion relatively inexperienced. Of course, you have to take that with a grain of salt as their ideas are only as good as the line of products carried by the store.

All DIY... Then the issue of delivery charge came up and it was going to be $ $450.00... He gave All kinds of excuses... We have never pd that... we are 40 min from Toronto...... The salesman was rude, obnoxious and very unhelpful..... So we walked away.... We were willing to spend$5000.00 on this couch. Instead We went to the Chesterfield store where we were greeted in a very friendly not pushy way and we ended up getting a gorgeous couch for much less than the other couch at Nirvana. The delivery cost was also less than half the cost of Nirvana's. The salespeople were friendly, knowledgeable about the product and overall gave an excellent service. I advised the cashier there's poop on the floor. 10 minutes passed, it was still on the floor. I advised another staff member who rudely responded to me and said "I know I know, we've already been told" then turned her back to me. I told her I'm trying to be nice and helping them avoid avoid a situation where people would step on it. She responded and was rude about it again. I asked to speak with a manager I was told the manager is on break. I walked away. Another 5 minutes passed same girl and the assistant manager proceeded to clean the poop. As they walked by I said "it's about time somebody attended to it." The assistant manager rudely responded, we didn't know and was very confrontational. I said I reported twice, how do you not know. I asked to speak to a manager above her, I was then told that there is no manager on duty. I left and called the store (905) 850-8131, the assistant manager answered. I asked to speak to a manager, she told me that no manager tonight and for the rest of the weekend. After a few words back and forth she hung up on me, accused me of being rude to her and her staff. I called back again, she was rude and she hung up again. Not very good customer service at all after trying to help them prevent customers from stepping on dog poop. I'll be reporting this to Corporate office.

It turns out the company blocked me from their social website for indicating discrimination under the Ontario Human Rights Act. They discriminate potential customers based on age and status. They discriminate potential customers wearing COVID-19 masks and follow the customer in and around their showroom without acknowledging their presence. They dismiss potential customer inquiries all together and do not conduct the necessary follow ups as indicated by the customer. I visited their showroom at the end of 2023 requesting for a writing desk with specific dimensions. As a result, the associate or owner I conversed with insisted he would follow up regularly. All communication ties were cut after my initial visit and made a conscientious effort to stay in touch with them. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ORGANIZATION TO THE COMMON CUSTOMER. CLEARLY, THEY DESIRE SPECIFIC CUSTOMERS SUCH AS INTERIOR DESIGNERS AND THEIR CLIENTELE. AS A MARKETING INSIDER WHO HAS TRAINED AND OFFERED SOUND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR MANY COMPANIES, "PLACE PEOPLE OVER PROFITS FIRST!!!"
