It is actually astonishing. That's a side note. The real news here is the professionalism of Timberline Landscaping and their quick, complete response and quote. From initially contacting Steve and his team, they immediately wrote me back, were able to provide a price quote via email with pictures we sent and then came out for an on-site visit to confirm everything and make sure that we were 100% clear on expectations, timing and the suggestions that they made for our backyard. The workmanship was done exactly as agreed to and in a professional way. They left our backyard looking exactly as we'd hoped and cleaned up and left our home and surroundings in great condition. As another reviewer alluded to, small things come up. Changes, clarifications, to a job when you're in the middle of it. Steve and his team were quick to react, communicated very well, and never asked for more money. We couldn't be happier with our decision to work with Timberline. By the end of the summer, much of the sand had completely washed away, and steps that were "repaired" have completely come loose and are actually WORSE (as in, the entire step of bricks has broken off as opposed to the single loose brick that was the original issue) now than before we had the "repair" work done. Jason assured my husband and I that they would return in the spring to re-sand and take a look at the loose steps. Once we touched base earlier this spring, Jason told us they would be out mid/end of May...nothing. After multiple attempts to reach out, he finally responded and said they would be out the first week of June...again, nothing. Multiple text messages have been sent and left unanswered. So not only are they not coming during the timeframes given, Jason doesn't seem to have the courtesy or professionalism to communicate that they will or will not be coming during the timeframes he originally said. Disappointing to spend this amount of money, with the assurance that they could improve our pavers, and receive such poor customer service when addressing issues related to the job. Also worth noting is that after I left a Google review sharing our frustrations with this company, Jason responded with egregious, defamatory statements. There's nothing high-class about this company whatsoever. Absolutely disgraceful.

They're all over gp and my friend got a quote from them in the Bloomfield area so they seem to cover a lot of area. I think she said she talked to a Christopher and he sounded busy and next 2 times she called he was out of town, she ended up going elsewhere. Growing up we always had Darrel visiting and he was the most helpful guy. He really knew his stuff and went the extra mile for customers if there was a problem, always super helpful even if they couldnt get through at the office, he answered and seemed to like his job. Vern did the best christmas lights! Hope hes still around... honestly the best. A girl Jenna? Jen? Did them once when he wasnt available and they were sloppy. The secretaries never seemed to know much. The younger current guys always seem rushed and unhappy and the lawn crew has been off their game the past couple years and they always make a mess. My parents said they recently have had nice guys come by... a middle eastern/Lebanese? guy and a bearded guy who are great... not sure on their names. Not service like they used to have. We hired Anthony Dangelo from D'Angelos Landscaping and we are tired of begging for a resolution…read morefor unfinished work. He has ghosted us and we have tried to give him ample opportunity to make this right. Just some of the issues we have are listed below. We paid for old barrier to be removed (it is killing our plants) and new barrier to be installed before rocks were installed in several areas. In several areas the old barrier was never removed and it's still killing for plants. In some areas no barrier was installed at all. Anthony failed to inform us he does not know how to do hardscaping and he never divulged he subcontracted a company to install brick on end (BOE). The install of the BOE was HORRIBLE and left us with a mess we need to have it completely replaced. The BOE fell apart after three days. I refused to pay for the BOE however, I will have to end up paying MORE then the initial cost to have all the rock, sand, and concrete removed so we have it properly installed. He still owes us a four plants that he has not made good on. One plant has died, he dug the holes for the other two plant and one shrub but he has ghosted me and won't return my texts. They damaged our landscaping lights, two sprinkler heads and buried a sprinkler head under barrier and rocks (I had to dig it out). They are the only landscaping company I've ever hired that (by his own admission) does not know how to repair sprinkler heads/lines or severed landscaping lights. It's understandable our lawn would be damaged in the process however, the 'repair' was unacceptable. There are still bare spots and uneven soil that he promised to level out. They dug up sections of our lawn while doing work for our neighbor (they are unhappy as well and hopefully they write a review) and just left it unfinished. They damaged a significant portion of our front lawn while doing the neighbor's BOE (which has already fallen apart as well) and replaced it with sod that is at least 50% weeds. It looks terrible. Our 16 year old Japanese Maple tree was severely damaged and I had to argue with him for two days to get some kind of compromise for the damage. He refused to cover the full cost of the damaged. He did his very best to avoid taking responsibility at all and had I not asked for some type of resolution he had no intention of addressing it or apologizing. He was supposed to return to transplant several plants that were incorrectly placed so, now I'm stuck doing the work myself even though we paid him to do it. We met with him in person shortly after his crew left to express our concerns and we thought we had a clear understanding. He promised to make is right and and return to fix all of the issues and in return we paid him and we stated we wouldn't write a negative review. It's been a month now and he refuses to return my texts and calls so, this is my only option at this point. ****Update**** Anthony Dangelo claims he has been the Owner / CEO of the company for 6 years and he is 24 years old. In reality he Is only 18 years old and does NOT own the company. He is commiting fraud. He is intentionally misleading customers about his experience in order to inflate his prices. ****** We always do our best to support local small town business owners and this is by far the worst experience we have had to date. Please DO NOT hire Anthony Dangelo from D'Angelos Landscaping.

Unreliable, Poor Communication, and Incomplete Work…read more We had a very disappointing experience. The company didn't show up on the scheduled day and never called to reschedule. We had two homes lined up for service, but they only brought enough mulch for one and complained that driving back for more was too far -- not exactly our problem after we paid for the full job. We also paid for spring cleanup, but the work was rushed and sloppy, with many areas completely overlooked. When we followed up, they refused to come back and finish the job, saying their crews were now working elsewhere. To make matters worse, communication was terrible -- emails went unanswered, and there was no effort to make things right. Would not recommend.
