I would give them no stars if I could…read more Our second visit to the GF store was a huge disappointment. We booked a different groomer this time, and right away she refused to groom my 50 lb shepherd mix--first because of shedding (which is exactly why we made the appointment), then claiming my 11-year-old dog was "too old." When I asked for a better explanation, the manager backed her up instead of addressing the issue. Meanwhile, my dachshund had already been taken back. When I picked her up--after paying a high price--it didn't look like she'd been properly bathed. She still had visible dander, smelled like she'd just been sprayed, and her feet weren't cleaned. It's hard to believe she received the full service. Before leaving, I saw my shepherd mix in the grooming area, calmly being combed on the table. Later, the manager told me she was "too difficult" and wouldn't allow grooming--even though she hadn't even been bathed. That didn't match what I witnessed. Between the poor service, lack of honesty, and overall treatment, I won't be returning. I'll be taking this complaint to upper management. I wouldn't trust this store or that groomer with my dogs.

The worst part is the urine puddles all throughout the store of dog pee that isn't cleaned up. Pee is even on product displays. Shelves are somewhat bare, unorganized. It's disgusting to come in here.

We have a population of feral cats in our neighborhood. I contacted this place for help, the cats…read moredo not belong to us. I have never talked to person who was more rude or obnoxious in my life. I realize it is staffed by volunteers, I realize how busy they are and that they do not get paid for their time. But that is no reason to push and push and push that the customer is a total idiot who has no right to ask a question or clarify what needs to be done to help these cats. I had the phone on speaker because I can't hear it very well, and I was writing down as she was talking on the first call. My husband was listening and when I hung up, he asked me how on earth I kept from unloading on this person as he'd never heard anyone who was so rude. I said I kept thinking of the cats and what they need and I bit my tongue until it bled. I had to talk with this woman again tonight about one of the cats, she was even more obnoxious than she was the first time I talked to her. When she was finished, I said can I ask you a question? there is something I need to know. she said you can not possibly have another question! I have gone over everything with you, you do not need any more information! She was yelling at me, and I couldn't help it, I just blew my top. I'm so sad, I've never had anyone get to me to the point where I just could not take anymore. she hung up on me. That is no way to deal with the public, no way to help the cats, no way to accomplish anything. I do not care how busy a person might be, they can be kind to each other. We have to many Putins in this world all ready.

They should be ashamed of themselves! My daughter found some abandoned kittens and took them home…read morewith the idea to take them to the shelter the next day. When she took them, they told her she owed a fee of $40. My daughter is young and working hard to make ends meet. This just added to her already stressful life. She thought she was doing good and instead got punished. She could have just left the kittens, but she is too kind for that. Now she knows better than to deal with the shelter again. They are money hungry and take from the vulnerable.
