I called and spoke to Betty and she couldn't have been more helpful!! I had to change one of my 3 policies and and she was so easy to talk to! This review is from a few years ago when I was canceled my insurance. The owner of the company physically threatened me. I had to get the police to escort me back to the office to receive my refund. Luckily for me they mailed me the check so I did not to interrupt our local law enforcement's day just because of this pathetic office. read more

This review is by no means a rant on Statefarm, just this horrible agent. Deserves ZERO stars. I was almost completely screwed over by this agent. I called on a Monday to discuss my premium going up because my policy was going to auto renew that following Wednesday. To no surprise of my own, there wasn't anything they could do about the increase, so I told them I will need to look for new insurance. I was told by Mark in order to cancel my policy, they would need me to put it in writing; which, I had no problem with because that's standard and it protects both the insurer and the policy holder. Well guess what? Good 'ol Mark cut off my policy right then without the written consent HE REQUESTED. On September 13th 2017, the day my policy was suppose to renew, I was in a major accent that was 50/50 my fault. The luck, right?? Again, good 'ol Mark cut me off on the 12th of September so yeah, you guessed it... I WASN'T INSURED AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT. Fortunate for me, an underwriter with Statefarm claims worked with me to investigate the issue and was able to see though Marks BS. Mark made a mistake and tried every dirty trick he could think of to get out of it. Despite the cancellation, my policy premium was still pulled from my credit card on the 13th, and my ID card's sent to me reflecting that I was insured on the 13th. Mark then went in a second time to cancel my policy and sent me new ID cards reflecting my policy start was the 14th (day after the accident) It took about a month to get sorted out, but Statefarm came through for me and covered my accident. I switched to a new agent and they have been great so far. read more

This office insists on charging me for a policy I never authorized for 4 months now. I only authorized a quote but then went with another carrier. I keep getting mail from State Farm even though they say they cancelled my policy. What policy? I never signed a thing or talked to anyone to say I wanted State Farm. I don't appreciate their harassment and gouging tactics! read more

We have been using Dee and his team for our insurance services in our family for many years. We recently experienced a tragic incident, that was so unique to the insurance industry with our vehicle (won't go into details ) that we had literally no clue how to navigate. I needed insurance to cover a condo I was buying and to cover my home and my vehicle because at the time I had AAA who insisted I purchase a membership from them in order to retain the coverage on my home and vehicle so I switched to State Farm at 2101 Gear Rd. in Turlock with Stephanie Hernandez and I not only received professional service but customer service that I have not encountered in a very, very long time! Excellent customer service, I was able to complete my transaction with no delay. I have been with this firm since 1980 and have never had any issues come up with any of my claims. The personal are amicable and always willing to assist with a smile. I have been a longtime client of this agent and even after 10+ years, they still go above and beyond. They are prompt to get back to me when I leave voice mails or send email correspondence. I have had many changes that needed to be updated with multiple coverage, moves and policies that Dee and his staff have helped me through the process each and every time. The latest being that Dee went out of his way to hand delivery some paperwork, 2.5 hours away, because an error on their end was delaying the process. If that isn't customer service, I am not sure what is. Dee and his staff do amazing work and because of it, I will continue to be a client of theirs. read more

Truly the most disorganized, rude office across all of State Farm. Every single thing is a battle, from changing payment information to trying to file a claim. Each and every form they send me is wrong multiple times, if they remember to send it at all. I called in to file a claim when my vehicle was hit and David told me to handle it myself so we didn't have to "deal with the deductible". I have had my business with them for probably 15 years, since I was a teenager on my parents' policy. The kicker was when my mortgage officer reached out to them for a quote on homeowners insurance and never got an answer back, so we signed up with AAA. Naturally, now even cancelling my multiple policies with them is a huge ordeal, with the signature line forms coming back incorrectly multiple times after I try for days to get reach them by phone or email of them. People of Turlock, if you go with State Farm, make the 20 minute drive to Modesto or something. Don't bother with this office. read more
