He provided a Bluetooth speaker, and a chest with ice. He timed the sunset perfectly for us to have the ceremony. It was very relaxing, smooth ride and none of us got sea sick. I highly recommend for a different way to celebrate in New Orleans. The only downside is the Bathroom is small and tight. If you have mobility issues or are plus sized, this may be an issue for you.

BYOB the day I went so we knew we loved the drinks and food we brought, but he had the cooler and ice all set up. Much cheaper for my crew rather than overpriced drinks!) There is a great covered area to the boat if you don't want to sit in the sun. Whenever the water gets choppy, Vegas will drive the boat further out. Since they only do one cruise a day, you don't feel rushed and can enjoy exactly the day you want. And his dogs are so cute and quiet and well behaved! New Orleans is a fantastic city, but sometimes it's nice to be able to take a step away with some friends and enjoy the water. *Special Note: Apple Maps does not know where this address is, but Google maps does

Mold and mildew coming out of vents. Bedding stained, chair stained with blanket covering ripped hole. The pictures of lodging on the website and Facebook looked nothing like this. My daughter is pregnant and conditions were dangerous for her. Tried to call and text the person we had been in contact with. No answer, hours later got a text that she was busy and couldn't answer the phone. In the meantime we had to find other lodging for the night. Kept calling the next morning and was called back and yelled at for calling so much and told she was busy handling something else and would call whenever she got a chance and hung up on me. We were booked for 2 nights and a charter. They called my husband an hour or so later and told him they had no lodging for us and were only concerned when he mentioned a bad review. They wouldn't give our deposit back. We booked this trip last February. I'm at teacher and my husband works maintenance for the state of MS. We saved for a year to bring our children on this trip. We were discarded and left stranded 4 hours from home. See attached pictures. I only gave 1 star because it wouldn't let me leave 0 stars.

I don't know what a charter with Capt. James is like as we were promised a Capt. James charter but…read moreended up with the 1st mate Kyle as Capt. and a person that was very pleasant but almost completely ignorant of the duties a 1st mate has to be proficient in. When I booked the trip in January for June 18th we were told by Leslie that Capt. James would not be available on that day so we booked on the 17th when he would be available. Leslie was very pleasant and seemed eager to please. I explained to Leslie that we had been on a marlin charter in Mexico and even though we caught a 10 foot Blue Marlin we hated it as it was tug and reel, tug and reel. At least we got to see the marlin jump several times which was exciting. I explained to Leslie that we would have had more fun using spinning gear to catch the bait...2-5 lb Skipjacks and that we would like to fish for whatever was biting regardless of size3 and would prefer catching 10-20 lb tuna over bigger tuna with heavy gear. When I arrived in New Orleans I received a call that Capt. James would not be available. As our charter was the next day I felt I had no choice other than to agree to having Kyle be the Capt. HUGE MISTAKE!!! Not only was Kyle aggressive and cursed at my son for not pulling in the bait fast enough but when I was reeling in the only tuna we caught, he cursed at me when I didn't do exactly as he said. We saw many schools of smaller fish (probably bonito) hitting the surface at different times but when I pointed that out Kyle replied with "We won't look at them unless they're the size of Volkswagons." Catching a 40-50 lb tuna with a pool cue fishing rod w/roller guides with the pole handle in a tuna tube is like reeling in a 50 lb manhole cover from the bottom...not what we asked for. Kyle may be a good 1st mate but he is not a good captain...he was cocky, didn't listen to the clients and when we got done he charged us for 284 gallons of gas. He said the boat got 1 mile/gallon so at 40/mph...we were out at sea for 11 hours so do the math. To top it off, when my son got out of the boat his cell phone fell out of his pocket and into 9 feet of water where alligators live. Kyle laughed and said "I knew that was going to happen." I asked him that if he knew it was going to happen why didn't he say something before it happened? Kyle said nothing and turned away. All and all, I know going fishing is not a guarantee of catching fish but to also have a miserable experience for the bargain basement price of $2,000 for the charter, $1,754 for fuel and $300 for an inexperienced 1st mate. I called and asked Leslie about the gas usage and she seemed indignant and said my son (who paid for the trip) was rude to her. I told her I was sorry if he was rude but explained the Kyle used abusive language towards my sons and I also and neither was the right thing to do. Bottom line...Only go out with Capt James

This is a fishing trip I will never forget. For the past few months I had been trying to book a…read moretrip for my son and myself but my work schedule never worked out. A day opened up in my schedule and Captain Joeys schedule but I would have to bring along my daughter with us, I thought she might be a little to young. Captain Joey insisted it would be fine. My son(9 years old), my daughter(6 years old) and I headed South to Leeville,LA from Mississippi. We headed out early the next morning. Before leaving Captain Joey discussed what was expected of as far as safety which was very important to me because of my young kids. Throughout the day my kids and I both made memories we will never forget. Did I mention this was my kids first time fishing in anything other than freshwater. My son and daughter both caught their first red fish and trout, and many more after their 1st. One thing that really impressed me with Captain Joey and will make me a repeat customer for many more years to come was his passion. He was probably just as excited as me to see the kids experience their first Red Fish and Trout. He was all about helping the kids and also taking the time to teach the kids. He talked to them about how to hook a shrimp, what he looks for when picking a spot to fish, how to take the hook out and why you should never stick your finger in a saltwater fishes mouth(my son tried this on his first one) good thing Captain Joey was watching. By the end of the trip my daughter insisted that she should be baiting her own hook, Joey looked at me for approval and I gave the go ahead. She hooked her first shrimp perfect thank to Captain Joey. I think she was also convinced that the she was the Captain by the end of the trip also. I would recommend booking a trip with Squealing Reelz and Captain Joey to anyone, especially if you have kids and want them to have a awesome fishing experience. I forgot to mention as soon as we left the camp both of my kids asked when we could come back to fish with Captain Joey. Joey thanks for helping make some memories my kids and I will never forget.
