There were some miscommunication over the phone and we ended up on the 6:40pm slot which was fine as we were still being accommodated. When we returned at 6:40pm, we were advised that the waves were high and potentially dangerous. The staff were very professional and explained to us that it is our choice if we still want to go out, but if we do, there would be a high chance of flipping over and potentially damage to the pwc and ourselves. After further thoughts we decided to cancel our booking and try it for next morning. This was tough for us as we originally was going to go back home after the jetski ride. We ended up deciding to stay for one more night. They returned our funds and released our deposit immediately and promised us a spot for next morning. Next morning, we got there and everything was ready for us. Me and the wifey always enjoyed jetskiing and this time was awesome. We got a Yamaha wave runner which rode great, I did notice they also had seadoos and Kawasakis as well and they all performed well. The waves did get a little choppy as our time out there ended but it was all manageable. There was a staff with us out there at the whole time and provided great instructions before we departed. Throughout the whole process the entire staff including Becky with the papers, the girl with the long blonde hair who took us out (sorry forgot your name), my man with the yellow shades, the two dark skin gents that I joked as Aqua Man and Poseidon, and other team members were extremely professional and polite. I can tell they really want to run a customer eccentric business and not trying to nickel and dime tourists. Highly recommended! *Note* - For people coming from far, please note, there is always a chance of your time slot being cancelled due to high waves. You might not believe it, but this is a rental company, they DONT control the weather. Please don't leave a negative review if your time happens to get cancelled due to high waves. Would recommend either book an earlier time or stay for a few days so you can wait for the right time to go out!

It gets extremely crowded, especially on weekends - so make a reservation well in advance. It can get loud at times, but the OPP always keep things safe and quiet at night. They have hydro sites and rustic camp sites. You can rent canoes, get an ice cream at their store, do a ranger program, go on a hike or just relax at the beach. Spectacular views everywhere. The Pinery is a great Provincial Park and we are very lucky to have it so close to the Windsor / Sarnia area.

Came here for a day trip on a Sunday morning with a group. We started driving from Toronto at…read more7:30am and arrived by 10am. Parking was $40 for the whole day. I recommend coming early as it can get pretty packed by the afternoon and parking would be a hassle to find. We also found a spot on the beach easily. This little beach town was so lovely and charming. It had plenty of cute restaurants, stores, bars and boutiques and the prices were quite affordable. At the beach, there were also a bunch of water activities you can do. My friend decided on parasailing and forced me to come along since it was 240$ for 3 people or $120 for a single person. It turned out to be a great decision because it was such a fun experience! You get on a boat with a few other groups and each group take turns parasailing for ~10 minutes. It wasn't scary at all and was surprisingly calm and safe. It felt so nice up in the air with the wind blowing on you. Towards the end, when they reel you back onto the boat, they will dip you in the water for a bit but I am sure you can request them not to do that if you do not want to get wet at all. Again, I highly recommend coming early because by the time we left around ~4pm, there was so many people and some cars were even waiting for us to leave to take our spot.

BOTTOM LINE: The technical layout is one of my favourite tracks in Southern Ontario…read more This review is only for their open lapping days for the technical layout. They also have an oval track here, but I did not get a chance to even see it, let alone drive on it. First off, this is one of the most organized open lapping days run by a track management team that I have been to. Everything ran like clock work: They divide you by experience level (which is self-selective, in any case), give you wrist bands, and announce which group is coming on and off. There are staff positioned throughout the track for safety and flagging reasons. And finally, their price is very reasonable, particularly if you pre-register. The track configuration itself was a blast to drive on. It is a flat track with plentiful run-offs should you enter a turn a bit hot. Compared to other tracks, this is probably one of the safest ones. There is a good technical session and a nice long back straight. Speaking of which, that back straight also serves as a takeoff runway for small planes, so your session could interrupted by an actual takeoff (it's very seldom)! It is easy on the brakes. All in all, if you can ensure that the technical layout is the configuration for the day, you should definitely give it a shot.

Note that the restaurant is split up into two separate areas, one for larger groups and one for smaller dining. The menu looked delicious and as we were both famished, we had quite the time figuring out what to order. Everything always sounds so good when you're hungry. We both ended up ordering the burger (with gluten free bun); mine with greek salad and hers with caesar. Decent burger, I would get it again. Service was friendly, but the food did take a while, especially for what we ordered. Must have been because of the other side being busy. Washrooms were clean and easy to find. The parking lot is also big with lots of extra large/long spots so if you're pulling a boat or trailer you could stop in with lots of room. We didn't do dessert so I can't speak to that. The presentation was quite good and I liked that the burgers had a nice sear on the patties. There was no issue with the service and our server was pleasant. My only criticism is that they did not have an IPA on tap, which is a shame with so many local craft breweries in the area. It was a positive dining experience and happy to recommend White Squirrel if in Grand Bend and want a nice meal in a beautiful setting.
