I finally asked to speak with the owner (grandma) who didn't seem to take it seriously at all. Customers were shocked and gossiping about it. I arrived 5 min after opening and there were about 15-20 people already out picking! The sun was out and it was a beautiful morning to pick. I brought a garden knee pad to kneel on while picking, definitely glad I did. They provided boxes and a carrier for them so no need to bring your own container. Price was $3.90 a pound. My review is solely based on the pizza and wine night vs. other parts of the orchard such as kids…read moreplay and the special event tent. The wood-fire pizza concept is adorable and overall a fun experience as it's outside, served from a food truck, contains live music and lots to observe amongst the large area. The pizza once ordered and delivered is extremely fresh with the dough being rolled on-site. My friend and I split the pesto pizza and an appetizer of the caprese salad. The service was excellent once we got through the giant line. There are also a variety of tables and chairs to leverage. The negatives are that the pizza is ordered in one giant line which for us took 1-hour and the tables are hard to snag unless you do in advance. A beeper is provided once ordered and you walk up to claim when the buzzer goes off. I would return just to check out the other areas of the space as the land is gigantic. Contrary, I would probably pass on the pizza experience as once is enough. Parking was easy too which is always a worry for me with a big unpaved lot with lots of signs directing to the right area. Note: there is no admission fee. Enjoy!
