The Wiggle Room Child Development Center - Easter 2025

The Wiggle Room Child Development Center

After researching daycares in the area and seeing all of the glowing reviews for The Wiggle Room, we decided to make the longer drive and now we completely understand why so many families love it there. From the very beginning, The Wiggle Room has given us a level of peace of mind that no other daycare has. The communication from both the teachers and director is always prompt, professional, and caring. One of the biggest differences we noticed was the stability in staffing. My daughter has had the same teachers the entire time she has attended, which has allowed her to feel safe, comfortable, and truly build meaningful relationships. At her previous daycare, there was constant turnover, and it created a lot of instability for her. The growth we have seen in our daughter academically has been incredible. Her speech, writing, and reading skills have absolutely skyrocketed thanks to their curriculum-based learning and guidance. She recently completed their Pre-K program and is now preparing to start kindergarten in the fall. The Wiggle Room has truly set her up for success. She has learned how to write, identify and read sight words, name all 50 states, and follow classroom instruction confidently and independently. Beyond academics, they also create such a fun and loving environment for the kids. From splash days to holiday-themed activities and special events, there is always something exciting for the children to look forward to. Most importantly, my daughter genuinely loves going there. She adores her teachers and the friendships she has made along the way. Every day I drop her off knowing she will be loved, cared for, and treated like family and as a parent, that feeling is priceless. We are so grateful for everything The Wiggle Room has done for our daughter and our family.

With both of my toddlers, I have always received prudent and timely reports about incidents (self-inflicted, as the instigator or from a friend). When I have raised concerns, teachers (and at times the director) have responded promptly and sincerely to discuss and find a resolution. For example, when my son was in the 2-year-old class, he was experiencing frequent biting incidents where he was on the receiving end. The teachers were kind and listened to my concerns. They shared that while unacceptable, biting was a common form of expressing big feelings and also shared tools, phrases, and mitigation tactics that they are employing in the classroom. At home, we also worked with our son to help him express his need for space/quiet time and to read more books about sharing and taking turns. We saw continued improvement, and as he grew up, fewer incidents. Our daughter is now an 18-month-old and has a biting problem at home. We shared this with the teachers to make them aware, and they assured us that she has not bitten any of her friends. They have started reading books about keeping her hands to herself, and we work with her at home as well. I absolutely recommend the Wiggle Room to any mom. We live 30 minutes away, and the drive is worth the fantastic support we receive as parents and the superb quality of care and education our children receive. I hope this review is helpful to parents.

Here I am calling around near by childcare centers to have no one answer. I remembered Kids Kountry and called and Mrs. Paula greeted me immediately like she remembered me and spilled so much knowledge into me about transportation and all the help I need to get the care rolling. I'll always use Kids Kountry and I'll never look anywhere else. 10yrs ago I was afraid to use daycares and I had tried other daycares in the area they did not have the experience nor trained staff that she brings. This is a warm clean learning environment. I was the scared mom to leave my babies anywhere. I thought the worst after dealing with every other childcare place. Mrs. Paula instilled peace in me when I really needed a wonderful place that would fit my boys. We enrolled and had the most productive awesome experience using Kids Kountry because of Mrs. Paula and her amazing staff. Here I am again in 2022 using Kids Kountry THANK YOU KIDS KOUNTRY & Mrs. Paula.

Absolutely the BEST change we could have made for our son. The difference between a traditional…read moredaycare vs MSDT- Clear Lake is noticeable the moment you walk thru the doors. The environment is quiet & peaceful. The children are seated, listening and focused on what is being taught. The staff is absolutely amazing and they truly want your child to succeed. Montessori is not for every child. They must be a self-learner and eager to accept a new way of doing things. Our son needs structure and the teachers hold them accountable for their actions. This makes all the difference in the world. We also noticed that the calmness of the classroom helps him stay focused. He has matured and learned so many different things within the short time that he has been in attendance and we couldn't be happier. Our only regret is not doing this sooner. We are grateful that he will be able to attend Kinder as MSDT - Clear Lake and look forward to more positive learning experiences.

They fostered a love of learning in him and helped him to build strong vocabulary skills very early on. Because we did not move to Clear Lake until my oldest was 18 months, he attended two other schools (including Creme de la Creme) and had a nanny prior to MSODT. If I had to do it again, he would have started at MSODT right away. Creme did not offer educational focus in the way that MSODT did. You can tell that all of the staff in the School of Infants really care in a way I didn't find with other programs. While my oldest had a slower start, MSODT Clear Lake gave him the foundation he needed and now he loves math and reading and is in the GT program. Almost every child I know who attends this school ends up skipping a grade in public school or is at the very top of their class and GT. I couldn't recommend this school more. They are fantastic in their focus to build a love of learning.

She approached me about an incident where…read moremy daughter was bitten, she displayed an unprofessional attitude, insinuating that I was being 'double-sided' and suggesting that my child was to blame for the incident. Despite my explanation that my daughter was merely curious and did not provoke the situation, Denise's response was dismissive and lacking in empathy. It's disheartening to feel as though a caregiver is indifferent to a child's well-being, and I believe addressing this behavior is crucial for creating a supportive environment for both parents and children at the daycare. In addition to my experience with Denise, I also noticed that the toddler teachers seem overwhelmed with the number of children under their care. My final straw was witnessing my daughter's hair being pulled and her being dragged down without any acknowledgment or apology from Natalie, one of the Directors . It was alarming to see such an incident go unnoticed by the staff, and it left me questioning why my daughter seems to dread going to school. The lack of communication and accountability is deeply concerning, especially when it comes to the safety and well-being of the children. It's disheartening to be met with smiles while legitimate concerns are overlooked. I believe addressing these issues, including the staff-to-child ratio and the need for better communication and supervision. I am deeply concerned that if one of the directors has the audacity to speak to me in such a dismissive manner, then they may also have the power to influence how teachers handle parental concerns. It's troubling to think that legitimate worries expressed by parents could be overlooked or dismissed by those in positions of authority. A culture of dismissiveness from leadership can trickle down and affect how staff members interact with parents and address concerns. It's essential for the daycare's management to foster an environment of respect, accountability, and open communication, starting from the top down. Parents entrust their children's well-being to the daycare, and it's imperative that this trust is respected and upheld at all levels of the organization. Mrs Alejandra and Mrs.Sinclair are great teachers in her class but something just isn't right about the administration.

The teachers and staff are very knowledgeable and they genuinely care about the kids they teach. The curriculum that is taught here, will put my kids above what other public school children are learning, which makes me feel good. I definitely will recommend this school to any parents of children who are not of school age, to get a head start in their learning. The benefits to your child's education, will definitely out way any other school or daycare. I also wanted to extend a big thanks to Mrs. Nassarin, for all the hard work that she has done for my kids. All of the staff and teachers do a great job with children's education.
