Also, have you ever been charged for anesthesia D9215? A regular filling includes numbing the tooth with a shot. To add D9215 is called "unbundling" a procedure from the primary filling code. In other words you were billed twice for the numbing shot. Check your billing statements. I almost missed it.

When I realized that was the provider I was about to see, I had a feeling it wouldn't go well--and it didn't. He showed zero empathy, especially toward someone like me who's insecure about their teeth and trying to build confidence again. He couldn't give real guidance--just said, "it's whatever you want to do." My mouth was full of blood and uncomfortable, and I had to ask for water and a cup to rinse. That should be automatic, not something I have to request. He didn't say goodbye, didn't acknowledge me at the end--he just talked to the assistant like I wasn't even there and walked off. The only person who treated me with any care was the dental assistant. To make matters worse, they never scanned the insurance info I sent or the signed form for my X-rays. I had to follow up three times just to be taken seriously. This experience was unprofessional, disorganized, and emotionally draining. I won't be returning. The office in Wauwatosa is usually pretty well but this one AVOID IT AT ALL COST

If I were to have children with complex needs, I couldn't imagine taking them to anyone except Dr Hanson, and I really couldn't imagine referring to anyone else. She recently treated my adult sibling and he also raved about her.

My son had invisalign and through that process my son had a stubborn tooth that didn't want to fully grow out. The orthodontist was so particular ensuring his teeth were 100% in line she had extended him out by a few months. Now he is on the maintenance plan, which his smile and teeth alignment are perfect. Not the case when he sees Dr. Frady. Our pediatrician has asked out loud what her secret is! The office is perfect for kids of all ages. There's a TV in the waiting room as well as a play area. The kids can watch a movie on an iPad while they're tipped back having their teeth cleaned. There are toys to play with while waiting for x-ray results and the kids get a token for the toy machine after their appointment. Significant to me is that you can go back in the exam room with your child. There are some pediatric dentists who make it a rule that parents must stay in the waiting room. Most importantly, Dr. Frady and her team truly seem to love children! I make no secret of the fact that I think my son has the best dentist ever!
