I have been going here for many years and am always impressed. The office seems to run like integrated clock work. I've never had to wait long, the front office seems to run efficiently. And then there's the care I get. From the hygienist to the assistants every person knows their job and is nice doing it. I've been seeing Brittany for my cleanings. I requested her because she remembers the idiosyncrasies of my teeth, Is thorough, gentle and quick. My dentist, Dr. Johnson is an artist with a gentle touch. He's patient with all my questions and gives me explanations for what he's doing. He's always asking if I'm doing ok as he is doing the work And my teeth look great. This dental office is full of rude and dare I say, racist front desk coordinators. Firstly, my child wasnt properly scheduled for her procedure causing benefits to be misued for what she needs to have done for the benefit year. Secondly, I have been trying to update my mom's dental insurance for weeks now with this office. They've sent a $500 bill to my home when my mom has dental coverage that they're refusing to take. I even had her insurance company call 3 times and they were left on hold purposely. How do I know? Because I was sitting in their office for my daughter's appointment, one of those 3 times, while on conference with the insurance trying to contact them, and was conferenced in the other 2 times. They placed the call on hold and began chatting and laughing amongst themselves. Ellie especially was extremely rude on the phone to me when I called to ask why they weren't cooperating with the insurance to update my mothers information. Her response was, "thank you goodbye" not even acknowledging the topic of concern. So what's the issue West Allis Dental Care? We're people of color so we get treated in a racist and unfair manner because....you think you have the right? We get disrespected and treated poorly simply because of your personal feelings regarding my culture? If this is the world we live in I'm not interested. I've lived in this neighborhood for years now, and I was hoping to have a good experience at this office but I guess it's true what they say, convenient isn't always better. I went to this place and the dentists hands were literally SHAKING . He ended up chipping my tooth while trying to do a filling on a completely separate tooth . I'm not sure if all the dentists here suck , but the taller white male with glasses, that hands shake , is NOT who I would recommend. read more

I have been going there for years and have always had great service. I have seen multiple dentists and have always been taken care of great. I have had your typically normal dental situations and I have also had major trauma from getting a softball to the mouth. I would highly recommend using this office if you are ever in need. I went here with a bad tooth ache, and aftr 4 months and 3 visits of maxing my insurance , I still have said tooth ache...I wouldn't send my dogs here...if you have insurance they wll max the thing til its gone...they did stuff to my teeth I didn't approveof...like expensive measuring...then they wanted to do deep cleaning, which is very expensive...and they said they had to do all this b4 they would take care of tooth ache, after 3 visit I never went back...terriable service read more

Wasn't to thrilled with the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth March 23rd of 2021. Yes she had a lot of work cleaning my teeth. Part of it hurt bad. She was upset with me. Because I made it clear she was hurting me. Tells me based on the condition of my teeth. She was supposed to charge for some fancy cleaning. But wasn't. Since I have no insurance. So I needed to cut her some slack. That she has to do this. A spot on the lower left side she made hurt real bad. Did nothing to make me feel comfortable. When I complained she had my head tilted to far back. Where my neck was hurting. I was told she had to put my head in a certain position. I was feeling uncomfortable during my cleaning. That half way through I made her sit me up for a couple minutes. As that was how uncomfortable my neck was the she had me laying back. The dentist was polite. The other staff was polite. As a child I was terrified of the dentist, even drawing blood on more than one dentist as I freak out! WADC has been amazing in helping me conquer my dental fear. We go over the usual stuff, I give them free rein to do their work and pop my ear buds in. They tap me when they're done. I just had a root canal done yesterday, I had zero pain. I recently had a infected tooth, which was extremely unpleasant. I called West Allis Dental care and they got me in that day. If anyone who has ever had an infected tooth knows how painful it is. Dr. Persich and Dr. Gorodesky took immediate action. They were extremely gentle and made what could have been a horrible experience into.... well several shots and an extraction on an infected tooth with little to no pain. They destroyed my mouth. They told me that I needed to have all my upper teeth pulled and replaced with an upper denture because of receding gums and bone loss. Mind you that my teeth were very sturdy and not loose. During the extractions the owner of the clinic who performed the surgery could not get out my two front teeth and had to drill the the bone down in order to remove them. The pain was terrible. Once I was able to wear my upper denture, I found that it did not fit properly and it kept dropping. I went back to the clinic several times where he adjusted them, however they still did not fit my mouth properly. On the last visit when I told him that they did not fit, he told me that he could not believe that. This was over a year ago, and to this day they do not fit and keep dropping every time I eat. Also, the area where he drilled down the bone is still very tender. I paid for everything in cash and now I am stuck with an upper dental plate that does not fit. Now I have to go somewhere else and get a new one made. I regret ever going there. read more

Well the surgeon there is a bit pushy, rude, and doesn't speak English very well for starters. He wanted to pull my wisdom teeth every time I came in there even though I wasn't scheduled for that, and they havent broke the surface. This is the first dentist that has ever suggested my wisdom teeth being removed. He pulled a tooth, which was not painless or without extreme jaw pain for the next 5 weeks. The tooth must have been really stuck as I had to resist his yanking on it for 10 minutes and then 5 weeks of pain in my gums and jaw afterwards. After he pulled the tooth my wisdom tooth decided to act up and push through the gum, which I wasnt expecting as his assistant told me I could probably wait some years since they were so far in there. I wanted to make sure I didnt have a terrible infection so I showed up there after waiting 5 days for an appointment in a lot of pain. The regular dentist gal was very nice and explained all four of my wisdom teeth have to come out, I am like a baby in teething. I twisted her arm for antibiodics because the area where my gum is broken is infected, and they took 5 days to see me so an oral surgeon was going to take longer, I didnt want some infection running rampant. They couldnt pull them there because one has like a hooked leg, well thank goodness for the lady dentist who told me they do not have the equipment to properly remove it and referred me to an oral surgeon. Her collegue was going to try and do it (the one with broken English) and I would have been in some trouble if he did try. They were looking at the same x-ray and had two very different opinions. Her referred oral surgeon cant get me in for 15 days so I had to look elsewhere and depend on reviews. If you are going here for something very standard, it is an ok place with flexible hours. If you need a tooth pulled I would try and find somewhere else. Also, make sure you ask for second opinions if something seems fishy, I smelled a little bit of money hungriness at this joint. read more

I've been going to Dr. Peter Limberatos all of my life. I know I can trust him not to recommend anything I don't absolutely need. So much so that, despite moving out of state some number of years ago, I still haven't bothered looking for a new dentist; I just schedule my dentist visits around seeing family. The receptionists are always friendly and accommodating whenever I call to request an appointment, and they are always knowledgeable about the terms of my insurance policy, keeping their records updated and making sure my medical history hasn't changed, etc. The hygienists are friendly and very thorough. The facilities are extremely clean, and the offices and x-ray room appear to have state of the art technology. I've never had any billing issues with them. A few visits back, I had two cavities (which apparently could have been prevented or at least minimized had I not gone 13 months between visits; more reason to make sure you go every 6 months!!!) in my bottom molars. I wanted white fillings, but Dr. Limberatos was honest and upfront in saying, "White fillings aren't going to last as long as amalgam, they're more expensive than amalgam, and nobody is going to be able to see what color the fillings are, anyway, with how far back in your mouth those teeth are." He was right, and I'm glad he told me that so that I didn't end up paying extra for white fillings that would have just needed to be redone several years down the road. In 2007, I had two cavities in my wisdom teeth, and Dr. Limberatos was up-front about that, too: He could have just as easily drilled and filled those and sent my insurance the bill, but instead said, "Your wisdom teeth are too far back/crowded and prone to cavities. I can fill these if you want, but you're better off just getting them removed." He wasn't trying to sell me on getting my wisdom teeth removed there (and, as far as I know, he doesn't do that, anyway)-- he was just trying to save me time, money, and pain. I went to a maxillofacial surgeon outside of their practice (since I don't live in the area) and had my wisdom teeth removed. Recently, I got married, and my husband also became a patient of Dr. Limberatos'. My husband had previously gone to a large nationwide dental chain that was always arbitrarily cancelling and rescheduling his dental appointments on short notice (yet would threaten to charge patients a fee if they cancelled their appointments on short notice), which tried to sell him expensive oral irrigators and toothbrushes and other devices, and which told him he needed to come in for check-ups every three months (which became very costly, because most insurance plans only cover two cleanings/check-ups per year). By contrast, Dr. Limberatos never tries to push seemingly unnecessary and/or purely cosmetic dental work, like teeth whitening, battery-operated toothbrushes, etc. read more

I made an appointment for my husband because along with Stage 4 Kidney Disease,he now has a tooth that needs to be pulled.We go there,fill out more paperwork than a doctor asks for,and he gets called.He shows the nurse the tooth and explains he has temporary putty on it and does she want to take it out before they do anything.She says no,puts a spacer or something in his mouth and takes the picture.He tells her he wants it pulled and she like stiffens up and goes to get the dentist.He never even looks at the tooth or examines it at all but says the doctor who extracts teeth will only be in on Thursday.My husband says then why didn't they tell me that on the phone?We don't drive so we have to do things on Tuesdays when we can get a ride.I have to take off of work to assist my husband in getting to and from these appointments and his friend has to use his Tuesdays then to take us.The dentist says he can show my husband the lady who told him that so he could give her hell about it.They take my husband to the desk and say they have an appointment on Thursday and could he be there?He told them he didn't know so she said she would pencil him in and they would have to charge him for today.He was like What?you didn't do anything!How can you charge me?She said she'd get the manager,so she came out and said because it was examined they would charge him for that and my husband says then you'll charge me again on Thursday and the manager was like no just for today.(Well,what is the other dentist going to do?Not examine him,just yank any tooth out?)The manager then said very condescendingly,let me put this into words even you'll understand!Who says that to a customer??!My husband saw red and told her off using many cuss words that I can't type on this page. They were very unfriendly and rude and condescending and we will never go there again!I''' tell everyone this story and make sure they don't go there! To top matters off,15 minutes later when we got home,there was a message on our machine telling him that he was dismissed from there clinic and that his Thursday appointment was cancelled.Like we would go back there!I don't know who the hell this manager thinks she is or where she thinks she works that she can have this kind of attitude towards people and still keep her job.I've known people to be fired for less than her condescending attitude.She's in West Allis,not Brookfield or River Hills for criminy sakes!She needs to get over herself!She wouldn't want to be treated this way by anyone.Those of us that deal with the public on a day to day basis know this isn't how you treat a customer if you want to continue having customers! Also,just because a person decides not to dress for success to go to a stinking doctors appointment doesn't mean they shouldn't be treated as a valuable customer.Who knows they could be CEO of a giant corporation who just wants to relax for the day?Think about it and please treat others as you yourself would want to be treated.It takes very little effort to be a little friendly. read more

My hygienists were rude, the Doctor I had, (I forgot his name) seemed judgmental, and when I was getting cavities filled, the hygienist and doctor were talking bad about their co-workers and just being mean in general. Dr. Persich is a fantastic dentist. I've been a patient for over 30 years. I am always treated like I'm his only patient. He has never 'hurt' me, is very gentile, and always interested in the health of my teeth. I have had numerous compliments of my teeth (those complimenting don't know the history of all the crowns and the partial plate Dr. Persich has provided for me.) He has a large staff of dentists and support technicians so in an emergency situation, I have always be able to see a dentist the same day I called. His clinic even has Saturday and Sunday hours. I give Dr.Persich and his clinic a AAAAAAAAAA+++++++++ rating. No complaints from this guy. read more

All I have to say about this dentist office is: I had a root canal done a year and a half ago and it still hurts every single day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I was a child I was never scared of the dentist now I'm petrified!!!!!! i had pain in one tooth and went there to see what was going on, they took xrays and the dentist looked inside to see what was going on she digging around at one of them and it hurt so then she took her fingers and grabbed that tooth and was moving in back on forth to see i guess if it was loose, it them broke in half then she just got up and left, the assistant was still there and i asked what they hell just happen? she said well your tooth fell out, i told her is didnt just fall out she pulled on it to hard. them they told me what my options were. 1. to pull it 2 to have s crown done but needed to have a root canal done first so i set up the root canal and went in to have it done on 6/5. first thing they ask if i needed to be pre medicated? i say i dont know what you're talking about, what do you mean? well i had a kidney transplant just over 4 months ago and they called my doctor when i first came there to see if they could even do anything for me, i was told everything was cleared. just over 2 weeks ago so wasn't sure why they were asking again and in my opinion this should have been done before i came in to have to root canal. they dentist came in and asked me the same question, i told him as well i dont know i thought this was taken care of. he had to point out that he knew nothing about me or my case, he came back and said everything was ok. then this is where is became very bad and very unprofessional. he wanted to see the tooth, looked in and asked if this was the one when he pooked at it, well i cant see how he didn't know since he had the records and they had to have out what tooth it was, i know they do number all your teeth. he then said the root canal might not work and i told him they told me they were going to do a crown, he then stated that he didn't know me and has been a dentist for over 35 yrs and this was the first time he looked at me and maybe i needed to go somewhere else. he asked me what i wanted to do? i told him i thought they knew what to do and i haven't had anytime to decide all the options he was giving me today. he then told me he wasn't going to do anything and walked out on me. all this because i didn't have anytime to think about what to do? either try the root canal or pull the tooth. now pulling the tooth didn't give me any options other than having a tooth missing in the front just over but in the front. to me it just seemed he didn't care to help someone that was in pan and explain all the options to me read more
