There are very, very few beers that I allow myself to but the occasional 6er of - why would I want to commit to that, when there are so so many great craft beers yet to explore?? Less and less of my beer budget goes to Spec's lately, as singles just aren't an option; Total Wine's better on that front, but also a hulking national corporation. Doc's gives me the best of both worlds, local and variety. We really enjoy their liquor section but I am disappointed by the limited amount of wine options they have. It's shocking to me that target has a better selection of wines, but besides that, they are superior in their vodka, gin, and whiskey selections. Every time we come, I feel like they have something new or seasonal. It's fun when you don't really know what you want and you can leave trying something you didn't expect to. I also want to give them major props for their covid precautions, they take them seriously which is nice.
