When we initially met, Kelly presented herself as professional, attentive, and understanding of the sensitive nature of my custody case. I paid her in full on the same day, trusting that she would deliver the services promised. However, once payment was received, the quality of service declined drastically. What I received in return was a two-page document that I could have easily written myself. I specifically requested a declaration to be drafted, and Kelly assured me over the phone that it had been written and would be uploaded to their document portal for my review. That never happened. After a full week without any communication, I had to repeatedly follow up by phone and email. Only after becoming assertive did Kelly finally respond--just to lie again. She claimed the service I requested actually required additional payment and stated that all further communication must now occur solely through their internal portal. Despite her earlier assurances that there was ample time to complete the court response, the document--which I ended up writing myself--was never completed or submitted by her. My court date is now two days away, and I have received nothing of value from this service. I would strongly advise against using CA Paralegal Services. They overcharged me, failed to provide the agreed-upon services, and repeatedly misled me. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Laurel at CPPS, however--that gal knows how to write. No surprise she was a ghostwriter in the past. I also love the home office aspect. When you walk through the door, you're immediately greeted with the scents of lavender and sandalwood. Incense burns and the decor is zen, helpie relax in a stressful time. She even offers to lead you in a quick mindfulness meditation, and she had some kind of special cushion that didn't make my back hurt when I sat on the ground. She has 2 rooms for children to play in while we do the serious stuff and both rooms are in view due to the open floor plan. My daughter loved the brain-shaped plasma lamp on her desk. Oh.
