We shopped around for reviews, price, and having all processes done in one shop. We found JR's and…read moregot the price in writing by email, as I now always do with every company just incase of any miscommunication of the job or price. So we took our brand new vehicle to JR's for 3 m Tape, Undercoating, and Ceramic Coating. The results are beautiful! The vehicle doesn't get dirty as easily in slush, it's like a teflon pan where things slide off. The tape was done really well as for the undercoating, it SEEMS great, but time will tell with this. But regardless there is a good warranty and they will check it and touch it up if it needs anything done. As for the price, we recieved in writing and on our receipt, it was exact. The price was far better than any of the other 4 shops quoted my husband by hundreds of $s. They needed to keep the vehicle for 2 days so each process dried properly and when we picked it up we could not be more pleased. JR walked us around the vehicle, explained how to care for it, gave us a bottle of Graphine to keep up the ceramic coating every two months, (the lady at reception explained exactly how to use it) and they asked us to come back every 1.5 to 2 years to check on the undercoating in case it requires a touch up and to keep the warranty in good standing. We feel the warranties are really good on these processes too. It has been about a month and we feel the quality of work done is really great and the processes look amazing with the vehicle looking really shiny and very clean! Thank you JR for doing such a great job. We appreciate your care and attention to detail. We certainly recommend JR's Auto Detailing in the West End and are happy to give them a 5 star rating.

Damage was done to the paint and JR's told us it was paint defect and to go talk to the dealership. After consulting the dealer as well as 3 body shops they all confirmed it was from a heat gun or some tool used to apply the front end paint protection. Wouldn't set foot in a place that can't admit when they make a mistake and own up to it. Had they done so I may have a better opinion of this business but as of right now. Not a chance. We did reach out to JR's but never heard back.

The fix was completed with no additional charge, (bumper retaining clip hadn't connected correctly) . Work completed is good so far. Communication of the decision to modify the scope of work is where I felt let down. Service is definitely solid A-OK. They stood behind their warranty, and the work has stood up during the past year.
