What was discussed beforehand and what was actually delivered were two very different things. The cleanup was incomplete, debris was left behind, and the overall job looked rushed and careless. Some cuts were uneven and unprofessional, and there was little attention to detail. Communication throughout the process was poor. Questions were brushed off, and concerns were not addressed in a timely or professional manner. When you hire a company like this, you expect expertise and pride in their work -- unfortunately, that was not the case here. I regret choosing this company and would strongly encourage others to get multiple quotes and clearly outline expectations before hiring them.

A quick phone call and I could tell that she had plenty of equipment, assistance to call upon, and know-how to get the job done. She even has the proper workers compensation for her assistants. This gave me a level of security that even higher priced bids could not produce could not produce from me. I think I asked pretty good questions including if she had any training on chainsaws. I mean, think about it. You're inviting someone to come work on your property with a chainsaw! This is serious stuff. I feel like she really handled herself well and have a very picky tenant who appeared to be super pleased with the work. I asked if I can keep the word for firewood and she neatly stacked it by the side of the house. Katherine was honest and professional. She knew that the tree stump was going to take some work to get it cut down to the size that was necessary for the dump. She knows where to take it and she priced it right without having to upgrade from the original bid. It was not a problem at all. I highly, highly recommend Katherine and her team to get the job done. Take a look at these pictures on her yelp and you'll see that she's not afraid to get down to business with heavy equipment that should be handled by trained operators. Was this a spill that Environmental Services should have known about since it was on public property? And why argue about a bike lane not being a bike lane with me? You drove by 2 signs painted green 12' long on the pavement and one standing road sign. You talk about safety, but refused to acknowledge you parked your car in the bike lane. Why? The owners were both parked in the bike lane I use on 7th St, a busy road and bus route, so I called out to them. The wife told me that it was not a bike lane but a parking lane. The husband acknowledged it was a bike lane and told me he has the legal right to block it while doing service work and that his lights were flashing. (there was no equipment out and I could not see any work activity as there had been in the prior week with cones and multiple service vehicles and equipment pieces working). The wife moved her car to the opposite side where there was legal parking. The husband left his company truck in the bike lane. Was not impressed with the attitudes. Wife was wrong, acted entitled and was unpleasant to boot. Why would you want to hire that? I noticed one review that indicated they might not be in full compliance with NRS requirements, so I'd look into it if you are considering this company.

At 7:45am they were assessing the multiple trees that needed removal and limbing, making their game plan, and hard at work by 8:15 after discussing with me. Everyone had masks as necessary and were very respectful of not only our property but the neighbors' properties as well. Doug and his team worked EXTREMELY fast and safely on this way too unseasonably hot day. They took down three 30' plus trees and limbed 2 others while also doing one dump run! They even offered to take a pile of pine needles we had "since (they) were going anyway." Doug left the trunks as we requested and bucked the rounds perfectly for firewood. Doug is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He was able to point out porcupine damage on one tree, determine the health of that tree, and assess if we can keep it (we can!).
