We talked with Chaz, who understood my concern for the well-being and longevity of my "Mom's tree"...a gift to me from my sons. Chaz, Swayze and the red-haired arborist (I am so sorry, I forgot his name) didn't scoff at me or try to milk my bank account because of my sentimentality. These folks did an AMAZING job of carefully trimming down our apple tree, bringing it "up", cleaning up the suckers, AND, also trimming up some of our silver maple tree, including taking off a broken branch. These folks also cleaned up my entire yard: branches, sticks, twigs, and fallen apples. A FABULOUS crew, sooooo professional and trustworthy! Jeremiah's is one of four tree services in the area in whom I have complete confidence. The others are A-Tall Tree, Bushwhackers and TPSJ. I use these folks because they are professional and local. All do good work. That said, the Jeremiah's crew is really exceptional. From Julia in the front office who gets everyone on the schedule to Ryan who shows up when scheduled to provide an estimate to Brain the foreman and all the folks on the crew. They area all professionals and all exceptionally nice people. I had five somewhat tricky trees to be dropped and removed. They did a great job. I want to call out Georgio (Georgie) for his exceptional mastery of the high work. I call him the Master of Gravity and Geometry. He precisely placed all his drops between my house, shed and garden without damaging a thing. A quick phone call and I could tell that she had plenty of equipment, assistance to call upon, and know-how to get the job done. She even has the proper workers compensation for her assistants. This gave me a level of security that even higher priced bids could not produce could not produce from me. I think I asked pretty good questions including if she had any training on chainsaws. I mean, think about it. You're inviting someone to come work on your property with a chainsaw! This is serious stuff. I feel like she really handled herself well and have a very picky tenant who appeared to be super pleased with the work. I asked if I can keep the word for firewood and she neatly stacked it by the side of the house. Katherine was honest and professional. She knew that the tree stump was going to take some work to get it cut down to the size that was necessary for the dump. She knows where to take it and she priced it right without having to upgrade from the original bid. It was not a problem at all. I highly, highly recommend Katherine and her team to get the job done. What was discussed beforehand and what was actually delivered were two very different things. The cleanup was incomplete, debris was left behind, and the overall job looked rushed and careless. Some cuts were uneven and unprofessional, and there was little attention to detail. Communication throughout the process was poor. Questions were brushed off, and concerns were not addressed in a timely or professional manner.
