Let's begin this saying that as a career long sales person I understand the pressure to make a sale…read moreas an associate. I also can see a sales pitch beginning a mile away and I think the tactics used by likely the entirety of Pure Barre are predatory and it's probably not only this location. But I'll never go to another one, so you'll have to let me know. I took an intro class today and liked the class. When I was first called to book it I was asked if I was ready to make the time and financial commitment which I thought was a little weird of an ask but okay. Upon going to the class, they made it a point to introduce you to everyone which was lovely. Class was pretty standard. The studio was clean, no frills, basic set up. The fact the studio is carpeted is strange and gave me the ick but was willing to look over the intense lighting and that for a good new studio. I previously had a studio I went to 5 times a week so I'm not new to this format of class. After the class, they had us come into a circle and sit on the floor like we were in grade school. They ask everyone how they felt and their goals and if they are ready to make a commitment today to do this and sign up. I mean they literally go around person by person and ask this - which is wildly uncomfortable for many people to talk about that in front of a group of strangers. Then they tell you about their only 2 membership options - mind you, there are more online. When I was leaving everyone was signing up for memberships. Good for them. Pretty hard to feel comfortable leaving that scenario without signing up. When you look both online and in the app they offer a 4 class, 8 class, and unlimited. Heck, they even offer a drop in! I asked about the 4 class pass. I'm new to the area and don't want to commit to a studio at that level. The associate told me they don't offer that any longer because she felt the clients didn't get the results they wanted. To which I pulled up another way to purchase a 4 class pass to which she remarked, "do you feel you can get the results you want with only 4 classes a month?" My reply "I think that's for me to decide." But seriously, don't shame someone into thinking they need to commit to something . When I was clearly uninterested in any other levels than the 4 pass she said she could actually approve that on the back end and it was a special deal they only give existing clients to keep them taking classes. So, it is an option. You would just rather pitch only two in hopes to make a sale. Be aware of this process. The people I met were kind, they seem bought into their culture which is nice, but I think this entire sales process is disgusting and from further research online this is a Pure Barre process, not the employees in particular.

The owner Renee is so incredibly sweet and helpful and Bre our instructor was awesome! The music and energy of the class made it fun. If you feel like you may not be ready for a class I would encourage you to try anyways. There is no shame in taking little breaks where needed (I certainly did ) The class is easy on your joints and body while still being extremely effective! I love how I felt after and even the next day! This definitely has me motivated again and I can't wait to take more classes. The schedule is great too, they really have times for everyone. The gym was also super clean and so cute

It builds strength, stamina, balance , just to name a few benefits. I cannot say enough about the staff and the facility. Every instructor is totally professional and articulate as they guide the class through the routine. They are helpful and always encouraging. The facility is spotless and very well maintained. All the equipment is in top notch order and shape. And all the added small considerations such as lotion, face cleaning towelettes, feminine products, fresh drinking water dispenser, etc. just show the care and pride that goes into this top shelf business. Thank you, Renee, and your talented and terrific team!!!

LOVE Pure Barre Ponte Vedra!! When I signed up for my first…read morefree locals class, I was nervous about going because I had never tried an exercise class like it before and in general had never been good about consistently working out, but thanks to PBPV, that all changed! Now I'm coming up on 3 years of being a member here, and even recently took my 250th class (a celebrated milestone in the Pure Barre world) and I have this incredible studio and community to thank! The studio owner, Jenenne, and her team are so welcoming and encouraging! They've cultivated a really positive and uplifting environment! It makes it easy to want to keep coming back when you feel supported and motivated (and getting to wear and collect cute grippy socks helps too)!! Each class type is a guided 50 minute workout using a ballet barre and a few pieces of equipment (resistance tube, ball, hand weights, etc) for a full body workout. No dance or ballet experience needed though! It's a great workout with fun playlists! The classes are paced really well to keep you engaged and energized the whole time! There are monthly class-pack and unlimited membership options with a 3 month minimum commitment, and you can also drop in for a class! Your first class is free for locals and the intention is for you to see if you like it and then talk with the studio about membership options! The clientele are mostly women (there are a few men), of all ages and fitness levels, so no matter where you're at in your journey, you are absolutely welcome to come shake with us at our barre ;) classes are usually between 10-20 people, with some of the more popular classes having waitlists. The class schedule stays consistent from week to week, with various class times available mornings, evenings, and weekends. Basically when you walk into this studio, you're greeted with smiles and good energy, you then get to turn your brain off for 50 min and just enjoy a good workout, and walk out feeling stronger!! I would definitely recommend giving it a try even if you're nervous- as someone who is not a gym girlie or athlete or workout enthusiast myself, PBPV has allowed me to have a consistent workout routine that I actually stick to and enjoy. I am so much stronger because of it and I have this studio to thank! Give Pure Barre Ponte Vedra a try :) I'd love to see you the barre!
