I came there…read moreoriginally because they were the only place I could find in London/Essex who stocked a particular dress (by NY based designer Madeline Gardner) that I really wanted to try on. I was helped at my first appointment by Daisy, who was absolutely lovely. She was knowledgable about her stock & encouraged me to try options for comparison with my idea of what I wanted. I couldn't fault her. I was honest with her about the fact that I had one other dress (at another shop) that was a serious contender - she asked to see it & was only positive about it. I actually wrote to Bellissima after this first appointment to compliment Dasiy on the service she provided, even though I hadn't decided which dress to go for. At my second appointment (which Bellissima found for me at very short notice as as I wanted to try both dresses on the same day, and reorganised Dasiy's schedule so she could help me) I decided to purchase the Madeline Gardner dress. 4 months down the line it has arrived and is waiting at Bellissima for me! I have not had my alterations done yet, but I would recommend Bellissima for a relaxed bridal shopping experience. No pushy sales stuff, just a lovely helpful attitude.

You are instantly greeted by a polite member of staff who will try to ascertain your likes/dislikes and in terms of bridal gowns, will try to encourage you not to dismiss something if you havent tried it. Trying on wedding dresses is a significant experience in a womans life and the staff here make it very enjoyable and exciting experience. Not only do they offer bridal wear here but bridesmaids dresses, bridal shoes, tiaras, veils and other accessories. I ordered my dress (Mori Lee) and was called back in in a timely manner to be fitted. The one draw back is that the alterations are performed by someone outside of the shop but they were fantastic and not too expensive either. I also bought my shoes from here and did consider gettting my bridesmaids dresses too. The staff gave me a swatch of the fabric that I liked for the bridesmaids dresses (very helpful!) and were not at all disgruntled when I decided not to buy them from there. Even if you know exactly what dress you like and you have seen it in another shop, I would still recommend visiting here as it is a lovely experience and you will be suprised by the prices. Based purely on the website the suits looked a cut above the rest literally. I mentioned this shop to my other half and he said this was where his dad purchased his first suit and was known for suiting up some infamous East End gangsters! I made contact via email and my enquiry was quickly responded to. The shop gets incredibly busy especially with wedding fittings so they only take appointments. The chaps serving us couldn't have been more helpful if they tried. They were great for an extra opinion too as they really knew their stuff. We went for the grey 3 piece Worcester and also hired black shoes which really made the boys look extra sharp. For the dad's we also hired shirts. The actual hire was very painless. Collection the Thursday before the wedding and drop off the Monday after. Really excellent customer service and a great selection of suits.

I went on a weekday midday and it was totally fine, but worth noting they only let you try on 4 at a a time and on Saturday when I went to collect my dress the queue to try on was over an hour. That said, there was smudging on the train of my dress which they had cleaned without even taking a deposit from me, and when I came back a week later, it was shiny and new. All for less than half of many other dresses a I saw. Recommend shopping a bit before you go so you have an idea what you're looking for and don't need to spend time trying on every style in the place, but overall, totally worth it.

I am reviewing the ladies store but they have a mens store aswell. In the ladies they sell bags and shoes as well. A lot of the products they sell cannot be founf anywhere else in lakeside. The staff are really pleasant and always look really smart. I love the carrier bags because they are very posh, you have to buy something though unfrtnately. You can get most designer ranges in here and they do have sales although it still dont make things cheap.

The staffs are very friendly there and they are willing to help you if you need any help. It is well located in the heart of the High Street in Chislehurst. There is parking nearby to the store.

I bought a pair of mary jane style shoes for £12 that I wore for work for a year and they lasted in great condition. In addition they also do good lingerie and a maternity range as well. I go here to get some basics such as combat trousers and t shirts. I have even bought a few jumpers for my trendy brothers as they are so cheap but good quality.
