They have some special designed shirts which is good for the guys who like smart shirts. They are slightly pricey there but the quality of the products are top noch. The staff are very friendly there and they really make an effort to help to get what you really want. I've bought a cardigan from there too and it has really lasted the test of time.

Made an appointment for 9.30 on Saturday. Two sets of customers waiting in the snow and freezing…read moreweather. One shop assistant was on time but had no key. The one with a key turned up after 9.30. No apology - just stated that she wasn't the owner. Four changing cubicles but it is horribly crowded with four sets of customers, companions and shop assistants. Shop assistant was unpleasant, rude, condescending and very concerned about "being told off". Didn't have a way with words. Not a pleasant shopping experience.

Unfortunately for me I turned up in relaxed attire (no jewellery etc) so I could try on dresses rather quickly. I picked out a dress and stated I didnt need assistance as I would be rather quick as I basically found the dress I was after immediately. I was shown the cost of the dress which was completely off! I was then told off for taking the dress in with me to the dressing room as it was her job to pass the dress. I thought we had agreed I was ok as I knew she had other clients. My mistake. Whilst I was in the dressing room (5 cubicles) I was asked if I could get out as a lady with an appointment needed the cubicle. I completely accept this as she had an appointment however there is a way of communicating words and this certainly wasn't the way I appreciate, nor would I ever speak to another human being with the tone and words chosen. I will certainly be using my money elsewhere as general etiquette is priceless.

Having visited many wedding shops I finaly settled for the Bridal Chest in Eltham. I did so after…read moremy initial visit to the shop having previously arranged an appointment.This I was pleased with as it gave me time to consider without presure and without other customers demanding the time of the assistant ,whom I now know to be Adile the owner of the Bridal Chest.Adile proved to be friendly,patient and very knowledgeable.Having tried on several dresses I settled on one which fitted fine.However, came to the final fitting I had lost weight,but this did not cause a problem for Adile she simply altered the dress without fuss so once again I looked great,this was confirmed by all that came to my wedding. It is small and stylish so this store has a boutique feel about it. The sales assistants are very friendly and helpful without being overbearing whatsoever. It is pleasure to shop there. They are quite pricey, so I do tend to go there to buy "investment pieces" as they say as opposed to accessories, which I think are a bit over-priced. Other than that it is a great store!
