Who knew this place was so cool?! I love shopping at the Deja Vu Love Boutique but I was always curious about the adjoining 'exotic' dance club. You go outside the building and on the side there's the entrance. It looks pretty renovated with bright red vinyl high back booths and sultry lighting. All the dancers on stage looked and moved like Cirque gymnasts. They defy gravity on these spinning bronze poles; I was truly amazed. Drinks were stripclub pricey as usual but if u get there between 6pm - 9pm there's an open bar! What?! Yes, unheard of! This place is wack. Came last week on Sunday (no pun intended) and was very disappointed. In retrospect, I feel hella scammed. As my companion and I entered, we were asked if we came by taxi (I thought nothing of it, naively thinking it was probably for a survey), and were then told that the admission price was $25/person for that night, with unlimited complimentary non alcoholic drinks. Not such a bad deal you might think, yes? Turns out that admission price for non-locals is actually $15 (I checked their website). Thinking we were stranded since we cabbed it over, they saw "suckers," and apparently they were right. Oh well, I took a risk choosing this spot, not researching the best spot to visit that night, and I paid for it, literally. I took it as a loss...we were in Vegas afterall. It wasn't crowded at all at around 1-2am. Actually pretty sad with about 30 or less people. The dancers I'd rate 5-7. Nice and natural and very skilled, excellent pole dancers, but nothing special from my POV. You see one dance, and the rest look the same. They climb up the pole, wiggle and dangle, slide down, click their 9" heels together, slap their ass and so on...yawn. Maybe one dancer was a 7. I felt sad for them because they'd make maybe $5-$10 per 2 dance performance (if they were lucky). Only that 7-rated dancer earned more than that I think. Pluses: nude dancers (okay, I'm a perv), average to nice looking, young and natural bodied (me no like fake funbags). Cons: ridiculous admission price if you're a rube (like me), smoking permitted (so if you're a non-smoker such as myself your eyes will burn and your clothes will stink), could be boring depending on your mindstate. Didn't get any lap dance as we weren't approached, and not sure I woulda paid for one anyway since they were $20 per song I think. Didn't bother getting a "free" drink since I'd have to pay with a tip also. Like I said, depending on your mindstate (mine was feeling a little butthurt and thus very cheap)...and maybe the day and time you choose to come here...maybe the place is popping...but this being Vegas, I expected more even if it's Sunday and 2 in the morn. FYI: from Venetian it's about an $8 dollar cab ride, but driver hooked it up for $5 (so I tipped him $5). Have the cab drop you off on the street or something and don't tell the front door you came by taxi to avoid getting scammed. (7/3) Update: my companion informed me that at the door there was a sign that stated $15 was the admission + a $10 unlimited drink fee...thus our $25 price. We were able to find a free admission through those Las Vegas magazines. That saved us $30. You go in, tell them the number of people, and they will seat you at a table. We told the bouncer we wanted to smoke hookah so he sat us in a plushy couch in the middle. They serve alcohol and you will get girls coming to you to get a lap dance. Never did get started with dancing because of an UFC fight that went long, but the girl waiting to dance ended up living about two blocks from us, so we talked about Orange County for a long time, and she was funny. Heard this place was under new management so I decided to check it out. Whoever they hired must know what they are doing. The staff is friendlier, hotter and the dancers are on point. The waitress is perfectly capable of asking if you'd like a table which would also assume a drink order and you tip her accordingly. At Deja you have this core infrastructure they referred to as "Gorilla Juice Heads" in Jersey Shore. You know bloated chests skinny legs puffy face pimples and attitude. I thought the guy was being friendly walking with me to the bar, no he was going through the motions I f "seating" you and this charade of customer service was now being used for extorting week tourist by bullying and intimidation. I just kept chatting with the dude and thanking him for the pleasure of allowing me to spend a large amount of cash in his establishment. I still don't think he gets it. Upon arrival I proclaimed that I had arrived on my own and solely used my own body to transport me there via walking the block it was away from my hotel. He brushed it off line ohh real hard dude you walked a block full well knowing the only reason I told him this was to let him know that there were no sleazy cab drivers out back waiting for there $50 referral fee which the club gets directly from your $50 cover charge. I dancers were amazing I was very entertained just watching the show. There were no sits close up by the stage so I could throw money at me without being part of the show I felt. I still went up to throw like 50$ at like two dancers loved them. But I'm a pretty shy man so don't like standing in front of everyone. Some of the dancers did walk past me and said hi or hello. But most of the night was pretty lonely . There was one girl that offered a VIP treatment for 150$ which I wanted to do but I wait so I can get some more drinks into me. As the night continues I was having some fun but I never got anything but that one drink. And that girl came back I told her I was ready for this VIP treatment which I never had before. But then she said she had to get ready which I was okay with that. I waited and waited until I saw her on stage. I guess that's okay she should have just said that she was going upstage, but whatever. Lastly, I'm in Las Vegas, the first strip club I have been to was showgirls and they were braless and severing drink the other was in Hawaii and they got fully naked. So me being me I'm thinking I'm in Vegas this club going to be crazy but it was not. This is not a braless club. Overall I feel like if anyone goes to this club doesn't go alone they make you wait a long time then forget all about you. I wish that I can blame this on covid but really, no bad service is just bad.
