While my daughter didn't find the dress of her dreams here, she had a fun first experience. Be sure to book an appointment before you go. Mindy was wonderful to work with on my daughter's first bridal gown shopping experience. She was knowledgeable and gave some great advise. Additionally, at J'Adore they survey the brides as to budget and bridal gown style, and the consultant picks several dresses for the bride to try on of the hundreds of choices. Appointments are for an hour and a half. No perusing of the dresses by the bride, and this I learned is the policy of some other, not all, bridal salons as well. As the mother of the bride, I was pleased with the varied price points. Budget conscious brides should be able to find a dress here. I called the store, and they quickly processed my payment and explained the shipping process. I paid $8 for shipping, but the package arrived in less than a week. A lot of the dresses looked somewhat dated, but after talking with the owner I made an appointment to return. She stated she would pull dresses I was looking for and in my size. 2 weeks later, same merchandise, nothing was "pulled". The only thing I found similar to what I was searching for was in the prom section. Then when she realized I could possibly buy this less costly dress, she kept trying to sell me other bridal gowns I was completely uninterested in, and she knew this. I left the store without a purchase. Be prepared that if you are looking for a modern/updated wedding dress, this may not be the place. It's a prom dress shop. But the owner was nice.
