I've seen some poor old retirees go through some grief with this issue. This is a senior community, so it's easy for her to take money, and play favorites when these poor seniors can barely walk. The first case was when I was leaving town a few weeks before rent was due I told her and she said don't worry pay when you get home.... Well, I did and she added a 10% late fee for being late. Next was when I was moving I went into the office and said Debra I will be moving at the the end of the month... I ended up telling her I would not get at the end of the month and I will let her know later when I will be moving, the following month I called at the end of the month on a Friday and left a message on the office recorder all is well..... So come my last day Debra and a few others are outside helping us pull out and she gives us a hug and tells us goodbye... Awhile later I call and ask for my deposit but no one responds or picks up the office phone.. Months later she leaves me a message telling me I needed to fill out a 30 notice paper that I was NEVER told about. And since I gave notice on Friday and she didn't get it till Monday it was also late. Long story short... She is as back stabbing as they get... She is the talk of the park and well disliked. I was told any fees as in late fees or deposits she keeps go to fund the park, so it's in her best interest to withhold funds to pay for park needs.

I have been in this park for more than 11 years. I've SEEN the changes. I've seen the houses go up for sale, multiples on the same streets around the same times. I've seen the houses being raided. I've watched the K9s sniff for drugs. I've seen the bullets hit homes and police pick up shell casings. I've called and reported crimes to the office myself in which they had no clue about. It is also FALSE to say guest parking is on every street. Apparently, some residents have not driven around their own community! As stated before, rent is about to increase again. Still, not ONE suggested upgrade or change for the better has occurred since my last post. In fact, residents are now driving over an area of dirt road that was drilled and worked on several weeks ago. How long does it take the city to re-tar A street? And who gives a crap about swapmeets, bake sales, and homeowners meetings? Residents aren't even able to reserve the community room for events such as birthday parties, etc. That is a perfect example of not trusting your residents and not allowing families to make use of what space rental SHOULD be paying for. With that said, attending homeowners meetings hasn't prevented the annual increase of space rental, hasn't updated pool tables, hasn't fixed the jacuzzi, hasn't updated the exercise equipment, etc. So newbies, please do your homework and know facts before you post. Ask people who lived here before Lois' management that can vouch for the lack of progress and inconsistencies. Better yet, ask the residents who live on the same street as Lois, what their opinion is of her. Lol!! If it wasn't for the upside down real estate market, I would've been gone years ago. Unfortunately, I have to bear with the nonsense a little longer. I would no longer recommended this neighborhood to anyone!
