We had multiple offers over asking and were able to write contingencies into the contract to smooth our transition as we looked for another house. Unfortunately, many serious items came up on the inspection report. Lauren was adamant that the correct additional inspections and tests be run to ensure the house was safe for our family. When in negotiations with the other agent about these items, Lauren insisted and the other agent was unwilling to test and disclose on the items in question, so we were forced out of escrow. However, at 8:30 am the following morning we met Lauren, and she already had appointments for six houses to see. We ended up finding the house of our dreams the next day after falling out of escrow. Lauren made sure our offer was accepted, and our escrow ended up being short, sweet, and easy. We realized later how lucky we were to have Lauren for our agent during this whole process.
